Good Morning Halloween Friends! We're past the half-way point in the month now! The counts have several interesting points of interest this morning. 1st - we are just two weeks away from JOL Day #5! And in exactly one week from today, we will reach the 100 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone! After that, there will be only ONE COUNT left above 100 days! That is a spooky and scary certainty!

Still here in very early Summer and trying to take one day at a time in the SweatFest. This whole week it is held at bay, but the 90's come roaring back next Monday.

Under two weeks to go until JOL Day #5! And this weekend will be the very last time in this thread that the "Days to October" count will be above 100 days. That's kind of surreal!

In just a few more days, Summer officially begins. I've got fall memes burning a hole in my pocket. And I'm honestly excited, because I know this is the "final" season before we are back home in Autumn and The Bers. SweatFest, I'm ready for you!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Thursday to you! I'm off work today so it feels more like a Saturday than a Friday. Have some mowing to do and then I'm going to keep working on the antique tractor - the show is on July 25/26th so I have a little bit more than a month.

You can see on our counts above that we are heading to the penultimate 100 Day Milestone - 100 DAYS TO OCTOBER which will be here on Monday! I don't like Mondays but a milestone on a Monday makes it not feel so bad.

I'm hoping to get a Hobby Lobby run in today and check on how the Christmas stuff is coming out.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! TGIF! And welcome to the first day of Summer!





The memes have been broken out, today is the Summer Solstice which means that it is the longest day of the year. After today? You won't notice it at first, but the days are getting shorter again. Just a mere seconds at first. Change is noticeable by the later part of July, as we lose about 40 minutes in day length! By the end of August, we lose over an hour, and we have the sun setting at around 7:45!

I'm ready to get Summer started and eventually behind me. It's our final season before FALL IS BACK! Let's gooooO!

Good Morning Pumpkin People! Happy Saturday! The first Saturday of SUMMER! Well the countdown is really on now. We are in the final Season before OUR TIME. And now the days start getting shorter, since we had the longest day yesterday. By the end of this month we are losing only seconds per day, but the biggest acceleration is next month and August.

I'm starting to get even more excited realizing that here in about another week, we will be only ONE MONTH away from Fall Pre-Season! I know it's not technically Fall then, but I don't care. I'll sip my pumpkin spice and apple cider when it's still 90 degrees lol.

Heading into town today and hopefully see some more Christmas and CODE ORANGE sightings! Holly and I are going to the movies this afternoon to see 28 YEARS LATER. Truly magical that when I saw the first film, I had just recently graduated High School. When 28 Weeks Later came out in 2007, Holly and I weren't even really "dating", just more or less creeping around. And now, we are seeing another entry in the franchise after having been married for 15 years and with two children.
