Halloween 2025 Countdown!

Good morning Halloween Fans!

Another hot and humid day, heat index is going to be around 100. The good news is we have some cooler temperatures coming in on Thursday and Friday. Thursday the high is only 74! I will certainly take that.

Also, this Thursday is the first NFL pre-season game. That is just another sign that Fall is on the way!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are all doing well. It's another hot day here. And it's humid too. I think we are all used to it though. Should be interesting to see how August will compare with July. I doubt it can be this hot/humid. Happy Halloween!

Happy Hump Day Pumpkin People! It's JOL Day eve, and now just 48 hours out from the beginning of FALL PRESEASON. Maybe @The_Escalation shows up with his special memes reserved for counting down the final hours until something BIG.

It's always a special feeling when JOL Day in July ends, because you know that it has ushered you in to Fall Preseason. And no more "offseason". Going to sleep tomorrow night might be as relaxing as a Friday night / Saturday night sleep.

Today is reserved for the "next month" preview, which in our case is short and simple. August is all about FALL PRE-SEASON.

August is nearly here. This month should be a major return of Fall items to the grocery store, with some things already being spotted. Halloween Candy everywhere, and more CODE ORANGES at our big box retailers. I've always said that August / early September is the retail Sweet Spot for all things holiday decorations. And it's coming our way quickly!

Oh the cereals today definitely don't taste the same as when were kids. So disappointing.

Happy Milestone Day, Pumpkin People! It's JOL Day #6 and we are also now standing on the doorstep to FALL PRE-SEASON.

It's our final day of having the FALL PRESEASON main count. We lose that countdown tomorrow when Fall Pre-Season starts. It's been with us since the "new" counts went up on November 1st, 2024. We are now finally at the point in the year where we are going to lose a count now once a month. Over the years I have come to really understand why @Edge612 reminds us to keep the counts out ahead of us as long as possible and enjoy the full counts, because once they are gone, they are gone, and that means we are starting over again, which nobody wants to think about right now.

The NFL Pre-Season starts tonight as well. Another sure sign of Fall.

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are enjoying the final day of July. To me, this feels like the longest month we've had this year. I guess January felt as long but for whatever reason it felt like July has lasted forever. I hope August will go slow so we can get excited for The Bers. Happy Halloween!

My July seemed to go pretty quickly. But I'm still having terrible flashbacks of January and February. However, I couldn't ask for a better last day of July. The temp and thankfully the humidity have dropped dramatically. It's cloudy, a bit drizzly and best of all 65 degrees. Light sweater weather. I think I'll be taking an extended walk today. What a great welcome to August 1st. Fall is definitely on its way.

Happy Friday to all! Pumpkin People and Halloween Friends, WE MADE IT to FALL PRESEASON!!

It's 65 degrees outside right now and a cool misting rain is here at the moment. Neither day this weekend will reach 80 degrees. Tonight Abby's cousin is coming over and we are going to have a fire in the fire pit and do smores and marshmallows. And that might sound crazy to some, but not to those who realize today is a HUGE mental change.

My Offseason is over. It was mired with lots of anxiety and fear, but thanks to God, I made it through and now I'm "ready to be back", back in the Fall feels and heading toward the Big 3 holidays that we all love.

Tomorrow we begin the "Final 30" to THE BERS, and Sunday will mark 50 Days to the official beginning of Spooky Season / Halloween Season.
