Well, we made it. Almost. Fall Preseason is here!
Good morning Halloween fans!
It is only about 60 degrees outside this morning. Really helps to bring in the Fall Preseason. Highs only in the low to mid 70s today. Certainly not the typical start of August, but I will take it for sure. Perfect for that Halloween vibe to start!

The first weekend of FALL PRESEASON is here. I have a Hobby Lobby run planned, and I also might sneak over to Bath & Body works to see if I can get some new wallflower refills - I'm down to only about 6 that are all Halloween scents that I "saved". I'm hoping to see what they have new this year for Fall & Halloween.
You can see on the counts above that we started the "final 30" to The Bers. Halloween is only 90 days away. Our next milestone day is tomorrow, so for now it's Happy Milestone Eve!

I finally broke down today and made a pot of Pumpkin Spice Coffee. Now I am sitting out back, listening to Halloween music and drinking said coffee.

The 50 days to Halloween Season milestone is here! And we are under 60 days to go until October, and now under 90 days to Halloween! And that is so exciting that the bold font cannot be turned off!
It did feel like Autumn for most of yesterday until we got to very late afternoon and it started feeling humid again. And I don't think my A/C ran all day until about 3/4 PM yesterday. We had the windows open for most of the day.
I hope everyone is enjoying their 1st weekend of Fall Preseason!

The 50 days to Halloween Season milestone is here! And we are under 60 days to go until October, and now under 90 days to Halloween! And that is so exciting that the bold font cannot be turned off!

Hello Halloween Fans! We have another beautiful day here. We will see temperatures get into the 80s but the humidity is still in check. Nothing overbearing (for now). Going to brunch here shortly. And back home to relax and talking about Fall 2025 plans. Happy Halloween!

Happy Monday, Pumpkin People! A new week is here and we begin a new crawl towards the weekend. Fall Preseason is in full swing now.
"28 Days Later" will bring us safely back to The Bers! And you can see on the counts above that the 50 day seal to Halloween Season/Spooky Season has been broken. Everybody knows what happens to the counts after we hit 50 days.
We're still doing well on weather - no day over the next 10 days hits 90 degrees. That is always the goal. The cool nights have reliably returned and they are going to be a fixture here for at least the next two weeks. It's 53 degrees right now and it feels great outside!

I’m seeing Code Orange stuff everywhere now without even trying. I love it. My kids got to enjoy a KitKat Ghost Toast yesterday! I sure do miss sweets.
