Happy Tuesday! Finally, the horrors of Monday are behind us and we advance up another day, closer to the weekend!

Our next milestone will be in ONE WEEK when we celebrate 50 DAYS TO OCTOBER.

It's about time in the year now that I start hauling wood pellets, getting ready for the 2025-2026 heating season, so I will get a chance soon to see what Lowe's and Home depot have in terms of Halloween.

Good morning Halloween Fans!

Here we are into the first full week of August and the month is moving right along. Halloween music has been making its way into music selections. It won't be long until that is all I am listening to. Yesterday, a local radio station I was listening to played "Thriller" and the DJ made a comment about Halloween!

The heat is starting to come back this week and next week looks to be near 90 all week. It was nice to have the little Fall weather preview; I knew it wouldn't last, but at least I know it will be back in the not too distant future.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The mid-week point is finally here!

We are still enjoying cool weather, but it does look to get a little hotter late next week - a few days return to mid 80's, but it looks like by the 3rd week of this month, we are back down into 70's and low 80's again. You can already feel the difference here tremendously - cool mornings and cool evenings are staples of Fall Weather.

I'm hoping that by this weekend, I am hauling wood pellets again. I'll do it with a smile on my face because the first time we have a fire in the stove here is always such a special moment. Most years we end up burning by October. I'll be ready!

Visiting Home Depot / Lowes, I'll get a chance to see what they have in the way of Halloween decorations! Have a great day, friends!

I still haven't been to Lowes to see their Halloween decorations. Maybe I'll get there on Saturday.

I haven't been to Lowes lately, either, but the local Hobby Lobby has it going on with Fall and Christmas!

The heat is really moving back in over the next few days. I just keep telling myself that the cooler air will be back soon.

We have added some more decorations to the Beetlejuice Tree. I will get another picture of the tree and post it.

I need to get to Lowes as well and see what they have out for Halloween. I also need to get to Menards as they always have a lot of Halloween stuff.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! It's Friday again! We've made it to the end of the first full week of Fall Pre-Season! Our "weeks" count is wild this morning - we are now just 12 weeks from Halloween. Seeing that on the page is a little scary.

We still have our "Final 50" milestone coming up for days to October, which will be here on Tuesday. But let's not think about that now, so we can enjoy a long, full weekend!

I guess it did work.

We made the switch from Spotify to Apple Music a while back, because Spotify kept shoving inappropriate podcasts in front of my kids (there’s no way I want my 16-year old listening to the “Call Her Daddy” podcast). In the switch, I lost a few of my songs because the conversion didn’t work 1:1, and Apple Music just doesn’t have some of the same songs.

I’m determined to add at least one song from the Silent Hill soundtrack, but I need to decide which one. I also can’t find the same versions of “Spider Dance” and “Bloody Tears” that I used to have on Spotify.

Might I suggest "Theme of Laura", the OG Silent Hill Theme, or "Fermata in Mystic Air"?
