Happy Tuesday Halloween Friends! Crawling through the first full week of November, that's for sure. I always feel like a week isn't "letting up" until we make it to Wednesday. I'm off work on Thursday and that should make the rest of the week go fast.

No immediate milestones coming up - Christmas Season is unfolding all around us, so as I say a lot during this time of year, the counts are kind of on Auto-Pilot.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! It's finally Wednesday! And I'm off work tomorrow so that means my Friday should come quicker than normal. I'm looking forward to another beautiful November weekend.

It gets to 73 degrees today. That's not a typo. The rest of the week is fair weather too, but there is a HUGE cooldown to start next week. We get in the 20's at night, and the daytime high barely breaks 40. That's pellet stove weather for sure.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's finally Thursday, better known as "Mini Friday" in my world. The counts kind of gave me a boost this morning as I realized that we have now broken into The 350's on our Halloween count, which means our next milestone is 9 days away, coming our way NEXT SATURDAY.

I mention this a lot every year, but please take note that here in the very, VERY early days of this 2026 thread, We have 7 main countdowns in here, and an eighth joining us on January 1st. Three of those counts right now are in the 300+ range. By the time this month has wound down, we've already watched "Days to Hallowen Season" get down into the 200s. And in the very early days of December, we will see the "Days to October" also break into the 200's! In all honesty even seeing something like THAT is a big mental boost. We will lose our final 300 level count on January 4th.

After that everyone knows everything that happens in the 200's and under! So that's what I'm saying. Everyone knows what happens to counts once the reach 200's and under. This thread could potentially feel like it's flying after Christmas, and if It does, let's just remember all to pump the breaks a little - we dont want to wish The Bers, Or October or Halloween Away.

Hello Halloween Fans! The more I think about it reflecting on this season which concludes on Sunday for my Sunday Group I think this is the one season of the entire year that my love for goes straight up (even more than Christmas Season). Happy Halloween!

It's finally Friday round' these parts. And that means that we are moving into a BRAND NEW November Weekend!

No real movement on the counts, again, time is running in the background even if we don't see it. A lot of us will be off next week for observance of Veterans' Day, and then, before you know it, we will be staring at THE WEEK BEFORE THANKSGIVING.

Legend has it that it's Coach's favorite weekend out of the entire year.

I want to get this workday behind me so I can focus on having another beautiful November Bers weekend!

Good Morning Halloween Friends!

We move another day forward here in beautiful November, and we get to 67 degrees today before an artic cold front comes through this evening, getting us down into the 20's and the next several days do not rise much above freezing. For sure the coldest weather in November I can remember for a long time.

I came across a track earlier this year and I meant to share it on Halloween night, but no time is ever greater than the present. This song, taken from the Friday the 13th soundtrack, i think personally is a great wrap-up / "ending" theme for the end of Halloween 2025, since the afterglow is pretty much over now and we are venturing farther every day into CHRISTMAS SEASON. It might even end up being the "permanent" "ending song" for Halloween, we'll have to see. So I leave you with it today.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! What an exciting week this will be. The arrival of Christmas Season.

A short week for most people as most of us have off tomorrow for Veterans' day.

A taste of winter weather has arrived here in these parts. The next few nights get below freezing, and the daytime highs don't rise much above it.

I'll be disconnecting the garden hoses tonight and putting on the insulated faucet covers. And the pump house heat turns on tonight. I figured by November 1st we would be needing that kind of heat here, and we made it two weeks into November without needing 24/7 heat. So we are ahead, all things considered.

Our next milestone will be on Saturday when we reach 350 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN! Have a great day!
 
Look at that. The new thread just began, and we're already starting at a milestone. The passage of time is something else. Hard to believe we're already 10 days removed from Halloween.

If next year plays out like this year did, then I know that by the time Spooky Spring rolls around, my excitement for Halloween will be at a fever pitch once again!
 
Well, I finally put away the Halloween stuff yesterday. And hopefully better organized for next year. Also, cellared a few pumpkin beers for Halfoween, which will be a welcome sight. I walk my dog at a nearby subdivision every day and I'm still amazed at how many Halloween decorations are still up. Not a ton of displays, but more subtle things like pumpkin cut-outs on doors and maybe a small plastic pumpkin here and there, while one inflatable lies lifeless waiting to be hauled in.

Happy Veterans' Day and Thank You to everyone who has served.

It's 25 degrees outside and we are barely climbing above freezing today. Tomorrow fairer weather returns and we get almost to 60 degrees. This is certainly the coldest weather in November we have had in many years.

Remember, we will hit the 350 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone on Saturday. Hard to believe it has been almost two weeks since Halloween 2025!
