Good Morning Halloween Friends!

Finally we are at mid week on "The Week Before". I can almost see the weekend popping out from the clouds. Legend has it that this coming weekend is Coach's favorite weekend out of the entire year.

Some milestones are popping into view too - 5 days from today will be 250 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON, and we are now ONE WEEK from the 300 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON milestone. I remind everyone that we started this new countdown thread with three counts that were well above 300+ days, and we are going to see one of those counts exit the 300's before the month is out. Thanksgiving Day to be exact!

"The Weekend Before" is here! We were smart and went to Costco last night. It was busy, but not near what it will be like today and as we get closer to Thursday.

Also it made me smile a little bit to see the updated "weeks" counts and see that we no longer have a 50 count to Halloween. Like I always say, these counts are all running in the background while we are all enjoying Christmas Season. We'll be back to really chasing them soon enough though, so let's make the most of this time!

Our next milestone will be on MONDAY when we reach 250 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON. Wow!

Good Morning Halloween Friends!

The Sunday Before Thanksgiving is now upon us, The Great Turkey Thaw is now here for most people. And once again we find ourselves on the eve of another milestone!



Tomorrow we will hit 250 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON 2026. That's always one of my favorite milestones every year this time at the beginning of our new countdown. Later this week, we will see our first 300 day window - 300 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON. And then something special happens on Thanksgiving - we lose our first of three 300+ level counts!

Today is going to be a pretty nice day, and all that's on the books for me today is to continuing cleaning up my back yard. I did the dog clean up yesterday, and also had a small fire in the fire ring of all of the sticks and junk that came down during our last wind storm. Then I'll mulch leaves. I might only have one more mulching after this, just about all of the leaves are off the trees now.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Milestone Day! You can see from the happy billboard above that it's now 250 Days until Fall Pre-Season. So check this out folks, 250 Days is a long way away. I have been playing with Gemini's new AI Thinking interface called Nano Banana. I asked it to create the same thing:



While the text on the billboard is much clearer, this picture I feel is a little "depressing". The billboard is ragged and decrepit, sit in the middle of a desolate field, and we can only see Fall off in the very far distance. This hits the feels, and not in a good way.

We are now in Thanksgiving week. This might be the best week of the entire year. I work today and tomorrow and am off for the rest of the week. I won't have this much time off again until the week of Christmas where I am off for an entire week.

Our next milestone will be on Wednesday when we reach 300 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON. On Thanksgiving Day, we will lose our very first 300 level count. That's exciting!! I hope everyone has a great day!
