You can see on our counts above that we will be hitting milestones again very soon - just three days away from the 150 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING milestone, and then in one week from now, we will reach our second 300-Day Milestone in this thread, the 300 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone day.

I told you that time is still moving on even if we aren't "hardcore" chasing these counts right now!

Good Morning Halloween Friends!

24 degrees outside right now and believe it or not we have our first forecast of accumulating SNOW on Tuesday. So today I'm going to make sure my snowblower is OK and starts up, and it should be because it is nearly brand-new and I only ran it three or 4 times last year. Then I'll see if the one down at my Grandparents' house will run (It's an ancient beast from the 1980's lol).

Our next milestone here in this thread will be on MONDAY, when we reach 150 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN. That one will be an exciting one.

our first forecast of accumulating SNOW on Tuesday.

I woke up to 3" of snow this morning and they are calling for 7-9" more before Monday. Usually we spend most of December anticipating the first inch of snow so I guess we have brought it on ourselves, but it does seem early to worry about shoveling snow when I still have Thanksgiving Apple Pie left to eat!

I saw some complaining the deals aren't as great as back in the day...but you still can get things relatively cheaper than most of the rest of the year!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. We cleaned up the house today, prepared the Christmas decorations. It was a cold day out there. We didn't even reach 40 degrees I don't think and we had a bit of a breeze this morning. Damian didn't care as he walked at the park. Happy Halloween!

Happy Milestone Eve to everyone once again! TOMORROW we celebrate 150 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN. That feels kind of close-ish, doesn't it? I'll be honest here, Spooky Spring and Halfoween are kind of the major dates I'm focusing on right now, even in the back of my mind since my major priority is enjoying Christmas Season 100%.

We woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground! I didn't even know it was calling for it. We are still supposed to get 3-6 inches on Tuesday, so today I will mess with the snowblowers one more time to make sure they start reliably.

Happy Milestone Monday! Good Morning Pumpkin People!

You can see from our image above that it is now 150 Days to Halfoween!

While the focus right now is obviously on Christmas time, can you just imagine what it will feel like when we finally see Spooky Spring pop up on the horizon? 121 days from today but we will start feeling the "pull" well before that, probably in late February or early March.

Now that we are in the final month of 2025, my mind naturally starts to try and wander to after Christmas and that first JOL Day of 2026. But I don't spend much time thinking about it now, because I don't want to take away from Christmas! But there will be a time and place for everything!
