Good Morning Halloween Friends! TGIF! I'm so glad it's Friday!

The plumber got everything fixed pretty quick yesterday and we are up and running again. The old faucet out front was original with the house and had to be 50+ years old. Now I have a frost free kind and never have to worry about it again.

Not a milestone day today but it looks pretty snazzy to see a 50 day window to our first JOL Day of 2026. How wonderful it will feel to be tracking that once we get in to January!

A reminder that our next Halloween milestone will be two Mondays from now, when we hit 100 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING!. That, my friends, will certainly be a happy day.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's 26 degrees out there right now, getting up to a high of 46. That might not feel too bad since it's going to be sunny. Tonight into tomorrow morning it's calling for 2 inches of snow. We also have two more chances next week for snow as well. Haven't heard anybody's guesses or predictions for if we will get any snow on Christmas, it would be great though!

We are nine days away from our next milestone in this thread which is a pretty big one, that one being the 100 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING milestone!

I know exactly how you feel. And I literally have to stop myself sometimes. I want to totally enjoy and focus on being in Christmas Season right now. The other day it was really strong, I was almost tempted to start working on Jack O Lantern Days, but I stopped. Christmas needs my full attention right now. But I totally understand!

Absolutely brutally cold out there right now at 14 degrees. We had horrible wind all night long and I was fortunate I didn't have to be outside for anything. Today doesn't get above freezing. We are having January / February weather for sure. Fortunately we climb out of it tomorrow, and it looks like the next 10 days are in the 40's and 50's.

ONE WEEK from today we will reach the 100 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING milestone!

Hello Halloween Fans! This time of year one thing I miss is Halloween Season Weather. The best weather of the year if you ask me. Bitter cold today as I woke up to a -13 degree windchill this morning. Some winters we don't even get that type of cold and it's not even winter yet. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The big freeze is over and the next 10 days or so look to be in the 40's and 50's. It will feel like a heatwave today after the horrible weather that we have had for the last week.

I have four more days of work and then I'm on vacation through Christmas. Ordinarily I would want the week to go by fast in that kind of situation, but If I do that, I'm wishing away Christmas Season!

Mini Friday is here! I have just two more work days and then I'm off for 9 days!

We are inching closer and closer to the 100 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING milestone! It will be here on Monday! And that's pretty special to arrive on the week of Christmas.

I say it all the time but these counts have been doing their thing in the background ever since we left Halloween 2025. We started this new thread with THREE counts that were well north of 300 days, and this morning there is only ONE count that is in the 300's. And in a little over two weeks, that one also will be in the 200's. That being the "Days to Halloween" countdown. Even I don't want to rush that one.

My only item of Halloween note is my decorative uncarved pumpkins have survived this long due to being frozen solid. Alas, we've had a thaw and I think I better bowl them into the woods for the squirrels.

So long pumpkin twins! You extended my spooky season and then some. And while you deserve a more dignified ending than rodents eating your innards, I suppose it's better than turning into melted sludge on my porch.

It hasn't "hit" me yet, but I'm sure it will once the pumpkins inside go away and the new week begins. It's an odd feeling, because nobody for the most part is unhappy during Christmas season, but I do kind of miss it in the bathrooms. I'm so fortunate for the special days here. I think if there was just a "hard stop" at the end of December, i would be absolutely miserable.

Hey guys so sometimes I like to go back through and read old posts, check for grammar or countdown mistakes, and I came across this gem:
