Good morning Halloween Fans!

It is simply an amazing morning. It is only about 60 degrees with a nice breeze! Tomorrow morning will be even cooler...in the lower 50s!

It is amazing how close we are to Fall Preseason! So exciting!

Today through the 24th I will be in Christmas mode. Listening to Christmas music right now and then the replay of Tracking Santa the next couple of days.
On the 25th we are going to Canton Ohio for the Women's Football Championship. Then my wife and I are going on a mini-vacation for our anniversary (which was in June). Then we turn all of our attention to Halloween! I cannot wait!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It sounds weird but having vacation lately made me realize how much I really love coming to work. Everyday feels like an adventure here. We have clouds breaking for some sun. It should turn into a nice summer day. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Pumpkin People! It's a lot of fanfare this morning. You can see from the graphics above that today is indeed 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN, and also the very final time in this 2026 Halloween Countdown Thread that we will have a triple digit count.

Even nature is cooperating this morning, as it is 59 degrees outside and only reaching 79 today. Gorgeous weather and that will honestly feel like a BERS day. This is easily late August / Early September weather.

Our middle countdown graphic was cleaned up / sharpened up with Google Gemini this morning, I plan on going through in the "offseason" and cleaning up a lot of the old ones. Many I made on MS Paint during the Pandemic, they need a new coat of paint.

Today is an outstanding day to play a little bit of Halloween music. It feels like the real deal out there! If it was just a *little* more chilly at sunrise, it would really feel like an October day.

Have a great day friends! Take a good long look at the FINAL triple digit count in this thread!

Happy 100 Days! With Halloween stuff showing up in stores already, it feels like we’re in Spooky Preseason!

Here’s a little something to listen to today: This is the music from the Boo to You parade at Disney World. We watched this last year in its entirety when we took our trip, and it was fantastic! Sometimes on JOL Days I’ll put this on in the background and play it on a loop while I’m at work.

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's a nice day outside. Really beautiful. Often this time of year is hot and humid every single day. But not this year (so far). I am very happy to say 100 days till Halloween and the fun/amazing stuff we have from now till then is the best. Happy Halloween!

Good morning Halloween Fans!

Once again the weather is amazing! It really feels like a September morning, I love it!

We went to Lowe's yesterday, no new Halloween decor yet. They have the big Pumpkin King and two smaller ones there; they are the ones others have reported.

However, we have been looking for a new light solution for our porch and overhead area out back. We usually have a string of large, regular LED lights hanging in both areas. During Halloween, we add Halloween lights to the area. But, at Lowe's we found some nice LED color changing lights. So we bought one type for the porch, and a different type for the back. They have the remote so we can change colors based on the season. I feel like it is a great upgrade. So while not technically Halloween decor, both will serve that purpose during the season.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! There are no more triple digit counts in this thread! Just one week away from JOL Day #6, and in just about another week FALL PRESEASON will be here!

The Bers count is down in the 30's now, and we are obviously going to see this thread lose a main count next week when Augtober arrives.

Today is the day of my big tractor show. We go down and get set up today, but most of the attendance will be tomorrow. I'm excited to share some pics later and maybe even find a new piece of junk antique to bring home with me and work on over the summer / winter.

Its a gorgeous 53 DEGREES outside right now. THIS is September weather here. I love it. Last year when we went to the show, it was almost 100 degrees. Have a great day!

Good luck with the show! Look forward to the pics.

Also 53 here this a.m. Glorious!

Sorry for the lateness of me getting on here, but I wanted to share something...
We went grocery shopping today at Meijer, and while there were no Halloween decorations out yet... they had their Fall candles out, other Fall cleaners and plugins.... and, most importantly.... Pumpkin Spice Coffee!! So of course I picked up a bag of the coffee! I will get much, much more. I was very excited to see it out already. I believe this is the earliest I have seen it in our stores. It is normally the first week of August at the earliest. Anyway, I had to share that!

Everyone have a great night!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Day #2 of the Tractor Show, but I think it's going to be an early day as it's calling for rain later. I hope today to come home with something cool, whether it be a new project tractor, or something from down there. If I don't find anything, that's okay too because I had a great time yesterday with Dad.

Folks, today marks exactly ONE WEEK until Fall Preseason arrives.

And, before I forget, HAPPY RUDOLPH DAY TO ALL!

I'm heading back down to the fairground in about 45 minutes.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Hello Halloween Fans! It's another beautiful day here in July. I don't know why but after that crazy hot and super humid early part of the month everything really calmed down and we have some beautiful summer weather. Happy Halloween!

Our local Halloween "Trail of Terror" has rolled their sign out to the road. I guess they want to advertise early. Just another sign of the great times ahead of us.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The tractor show weekend is over and I'm exhausted. It was well worth the work and preparation I did over the past couple of weeks. I'm excited to go back, and in many ways, counting back down to the show in 2027 is almost like counting down to Christmas!

As promised, here are a couple of pics that we took:

That's my Dad's 3 HP 1935 Morse-Fairbanks engine!
IMG_0023.JPEG
My 1969 IH Cub 100, I did new wheels and tires, and also put on new grill decals, painted the grill, put on new hood decals, and wet sanded the hood and clear coated it. My plan is to keep this tractor mostly "patina" looking, it was in good company down here.

This is a 1969/1970? John Deere 112 that I bought at the show for a winter project. We remembered the owner from last year and he had it for sale this year, and I couldn't help myself. It has been completely restored and the paint and body is near immaculate for the year, but the engine does need some attention over the winter. It still runs and drives but is probably a good candidate for a rebuild / replacement. I have 364 days to get that done before next year and I'm sure I will have it done before Spring 27'. Also need new front tires.

And there's all of our stuff set up. Dad bought down a few antique motors. There's a 2 stroke Maytag washing machine motor on the table, as well as some ancient 2 and 3 HP motors.

Back on the Halloween front, THIS is the week. Fall Pre-Season is a stone's throw away at this point. And we've got JOL Day coming on Friday. I've thought for a long time about my "ritual" for that night, I already have a movie picked out but I want to do something special, maybe I try to stay up until midnight to be able to be present for when the clock strikes Augtober August. I get the jitters just thinking about it!

Pumpkin friends I hope you are well, and I hope you are all ready to conquer this final week of July with me!

I have to take some time and put on HP later this evening, since It's Dark Arts Sunday, and the next time we have one of these, we will be getting ready to welcome in THE BERS!
