I care! I was actually curious about the difficulty level. I have a bunch of horror games I haven't played, but haven't yet. I want to play that Friday the 13th game but it seems like it would be difficult. Not to mention stressful. Even if it's fake I'm not sure I can stand the tension of trying to get away from Jason.
Kinda crazy that I breezed through Dawn of Sorrow, and the first boss in Portrait of Ruin just decimated me right off the bat. I had to do some extra leveling before I was able to try again.

Are you talking about the more recent (2017) Friday the 13th game? I’m old enough to remember the original one that released on the NES. Despite the dated graphics and gameplay, it stressed me out as a kid.

Buc-ee's has the Halloween spirit tonight.

How is anybody still playing the F13 game? I thought it was taken off the servers. I would LOVE to play it. I only got to play a few times when the game came out, I even got to be Jason one time and it was awesome. There's a Michael Myers game coming out next month too and I believe it is made by the same publishers!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Saturday! I'm up and ready early today for the half marathon. It's at a beautiful park and one of my very favorite places in this area to run.

If I'm not too tired or sore later, we're going to hit Costco and I hope to find more Halloween items. I also plan on continuing to decorate outside as long as I feel good. The moving around will probably help me stay loose. I also have to put new blades on my riding mower because I have one that is slightly bent and it's scalping different low points in my yard. It's calling for rain later today and a lot next week, so tomorrow looks like it's my only good day to mow for this coming week.

Pumpkin friends I hope you are well! Have a great Saturday!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's a hot day out there and humid too. But that's okay because it's August and it's summer. Been running all over today including Damian to the vet. They gave him a prescription for this little thing under his eye. Looks like a bite. Happy Halloween!

Yes, the most recent one. "Recent." Is it really that old already? Ha. I honestly thought it was just a few years old. Yeesh. And yeah...old enough to have played the NES game. Definitely not a relaxing game. But I also think Haunted House on the Atari 2600 is a bit of a white knuckler.

I had a 2600, but the scariest I ever got was the super weird and glitchy version of PAC-Man. Never played Haunted House, but I remember some kind of game with spiders and skeletons, and I think you shot lasers at them. I can’t remember what it was called. I think it had a black and blue background.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! Happy Sunday to you all!

Outside of some cramping yesterday in my right calf between miles 10 and 11, I don't think I have any injuries. I am surprisingly not in very much pain, and in all honesty this might be the "best" I've ever felt after a half marathon. Abby was at the finish line with her cowbell, and she ran out to greet me, and I picked her up and we crossed the finish together, drawing lots of cheers and "awwwws" from the assembled crowd. We even had our picture taken by a member of the staff who claim it's going to go on their website in a couple of days!

On our counts, you can see above that we are now just a hair shy of being three weeks from JOL Day#7, and by proxy, The Bers. Our second to last 50 DAY MILESTONE will be here on Wednesday, when we reach 50 DAYS TO OCTOBER. I don't mention the Days to Halloween count very often because I want to try and keep that count out ahead as long as possible!

Have a great day!

Good morning Halloween Fans!

A pretty normal Sunday morning, breakfast and grocery shopping. Henry is taking his Senior pictures later today. Still hard to believe is going into his senior year.

The weather is anything but Fall like today. It is HOT and HUMID! I will certainly be getting in the pool at some point today.

Even though the weather is hot, I am still getting the Fall Feels! Having started the decorating helps and I am currently drinking a cup of Maple Hazelnut Coffee. We also watched The Dead Don't Die yesterday. I simply love that movie. So silly and deadpan, but so good. Either today or very soon I will do my August watch of Clue. It is often the movie that I sort of start the season off with.

Everyone have a wonderful day!

Good Morning Halloween Friends!

A new week is upon us and one that will see us reach 50 DAYS TO OCTOBER on Wednesday, and then the HALF WAY point of the month this weekend! Unreal!

I plan to resume Fall decorating today after work, I have some soreness in my right calf still but it isn't anything debilitating. Yesterday I hobbled around and trimmed some shrubs in my front yard. It might be the last time this year that anything gets trimmed. Late summer is usually the cutoff for a lot of plants around here because the new growth isn't tough enough to survive the hard winter.

I hope everyone has a great day!
