If AI-Kansas City taught us anything it is that AI needs to ban siblings for former AI contestants -- Jar-jar, it seems, has a little brother.

He's equally as clueless as big brother Jason and he's equally challenged in the hair department. But one key difference...little brother might actually be able to sing above a whisper.

Doesn't mean I liked him though...

The dude who lost his wife...was very good.

The dude who teaches band at the middle school...was very good.

The dude with the white hat that was screaming at the top of his lungs...well, if he deserved a chance then the guy with the cheerleaders deserved a chance as well.

And what about the guy who sang the Chris Brown song...talk about charity!!! He was awful.

I can tell already I've had it again with the judges this year.

I'd love to see an audition show that had just straight auditions back-to-back-to-back with 800 numbers that we could call -- and NO freakin' judges.

Just once.

How can the blind guy be contrived? Is it his fault he's blind? It probably wasn't his idea to be featured the way AI featured him. I'm sure the schmaltz of his story wasn't his idea.

He came across as actually humble to me. Kind of rare on a reality show.

I still can't believe Ryan Seacrest tried to hi-5 the blind guy!!

I agree, Jeff!! I think the guy who lost his wife was very soulful and the band teacher has a pure voice. Some of the contestants shouldn't have made it, but I think KC had some pretty good talent.

That's two of the most awkward TV moments of all time that Ryan has been involved with...First was Dick Clark on New Years Eve...(I love Dick Clark...He is an American Icon! But I'm afraid it's time to hang up his cleats and watch from home) and then the "Blind Guy High Five" as it will be known henceforth...Ryan is becoming quite the cringemaker...

No one really jumped out at me last night... I did laugh when the welder who looked like 'The Russian Bear' Ivan Koloff made it through to Hollywood.

As far as the judges go they should have kept Randy & Simon... ditched Paula and instead of hiring the new broad they should have hired Sharon Osbourne... at least she would have bought something to the table. Now were stuck with two cougars who do nothing but eye up the fresh meat that's paraded in front of them.

Now I'm reading that tattoo girl had a DUI (that was reduced to reckless driving) and she has to wear one of those big SCRAM ankle bracelets while she's on probation. I wonder what kind of challenge that will present to the wardrobe department.

Whoa!

I just saw tattoo girl's 'mooning' picture (along with the comment on her belt).

I wonder how the producers are gonna handle this girl.
Remember how they gave poor Frenchie Davis the boot back in Season 2... I wonder if the producers will act on this stuff or just shrug their shoulders and keep a blind eye to it.

I'd love to see Sharon Osbourne on there. I love her and she can be nice and mean. It's always great when she's in the mix. But I guess she's busy with her own family show that's coming on tv here soon. I think it's going to be on fox.

Yeah, and she was also doing some show on VH1.
I managed to tune in and see her physically rip the weave out of some bimbo's head that was talking trash about her husband.

I'll join you guys when it gets to Hollywood. It's just too painful to watch at this point. lol.

snowberry (who thanks Jesus for humor)

I think that was something like Real chance of love or something like that.

I really liked Danny, the guy who's wife passed away. As they were telling his story before his audition, I'm walking on my treadmill, tears running down my face and telling my husband "He'd better be good!" And he was, his sad story aside, the dude can sing!

As can his buddy, he was the music teacher, right? It's been over 24 hours now, how quickly the memory fades. I also liked the welder dude, and the oil rig guy. Last night was mostly about the guys. A few gals stood out though, that Stevie, and the last lady, whose apartment building got blown away by the tornado. I thought she was really good too.

Lots more auditions to be seen though.

and another thing from last nights KC auditions... does anyone in Kansas City own a toothbrush? All their teeth were yellow. WTF? White strips aren't that expensive anymore.

Guess what I've just found this side of the pond??!!!!! I'm currently watching Kansas City!!!

....signed, sealed, delivered I'm yours.......

Like the welder guy

I'll have to keep up with this!!!

I nearly forgot about AO. I did catch the last hour on Tues but totally forgot all about it on Wed..so I'm out of the loop so far. I usually don't get into it much until we have the finalist.

I enjoyed both nights. No one really stood out. There were some that I definitely liked and some that I definitely didn't. I'm not sure about the new judge, Kara. I don't know if she'll add anything to this year. We'll see.....
