It's OUR New Years Day basically. It's amazing September 1.

COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 8 DAYS
Happy Final Full Week of August! Oh wow I think that intro sums it up. But let these 3 counts sum it up even more-so. We have 94 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 69 days left until November, and 8 days to go until The Bers. Next milestone is WEDNESDAY folks (this is why for 2021 I will have a chart I almost forgot this one). We reach our 9th "26th". 9 down and only 3 to go till Thanksgiving. How the heck? I mean yeah it's going to happen here on Wednesday. BE HERE. I mean you always are here that's why we have over 1,200 posts and not even 3/4 of the way through this thread. This week I will have a poll on Thursday for all of you which will be about The Bers. Have a great Final Full Week of August!

Somehow Rudolph Eve and Day really snuck up on me, but I am ready to fully focus on our 9th "26th"! With the kitchen still being renovated, I can't try out a new recipe but I may indulge in a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and Root Beer, popcorn and pretzels!!!

Happy Late August Mid-Week! It's another Wednesday here and that means tomorrow will be our favorite day of the week. But let's take a look at the counts here in the middle of the week. We have 92 days left until Thanksgiving, 67 days left until November, and 6 days left until The Bers. That's 3 counts but today folks is not just any ordinary day. It's a MILESTONE DAY. Today is our 9th "26th". Can you believe that? 3 months from today is Thanksgiving. Geez. I can't believe it but it's true. We're like 3/4 of the way there now. But the best part is the best quarter is still ahead of us. The Bers are coming folks. It's coming next Tuesday. We'll talk about it more. Have a great Late August Mid-Week!

Happy Latter August! We have 91 days remaining until Thanksgiving (which translates to 13 weeks). 75% of the way there. We have 66 days left until November. We have 5 days remaining until The Bers. Our next milestone is on Monday when we bid farewell to August. That's our 9th month since November. 2 more full (amazing Bers Months) to go. It's Thursday folks so besides the Thanksgiving Weekly Count I'm giving you a poll today. In honor of The Bers arriving next week (that's crazy) here is the special poll this week:
If you could move the 4 Bers months around how would you?
A.) I would have it be in reverse (Dec, Nov, Oct, Sep).
B.) I would put it as (Sept, Oct, Dec, Nov).
C.) I would put it as (Oct, Nov, Dec, Sep).
D.) I'd leave it the way it is.
My answer is D. I would leave it. But I did think about how if I HAD to move it around how would I? If I had to change it I think I'd go with B. I'd have Christmas come before Thanksgiving. I think it would help a lot with the PCB's and then Thanksgiving would be kind of a final feast/celebration to end the year. Well interesting thoughts for sure about this.

I would choose D and leave it the way it is. I love the way it all build-ups with the crisp air and the leaves changing color in September, then the fun of Halloween decorating, followed by the November's Thanksgiving and eventually ending with the big finale of Christmas.
But I do admit that Edge612's scenario of flipping Christmas and Thanksgiving could be nice as well.

I think I will leave it as it is too....I have been pretty good with the PCBs and I think this site is part of the reason..
Ditto, I am D. all the way, I live the build up but do wish there was a little more time between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I would choose none! Space 1 Ber month out ever so often so we can get a month of cool temps.

I'm not one to steal other's ideas so I'd like him to post what he emailed me asking about. I really do like it. I think we should go with it. Ok let's get to the counts. We have 90 days left till Thanksgiving, 65 days left till November and 4 days left till The Bers. Our next milestone is on Monday. It is the final day of August. We will bid farewell to that 9th month since we left November. 2 (the best 2) months to go till we reach that month again. Who's happy this last Friday of August? Me! I hope you are too.
