I tend to stay away from sausage dressing because I over eat it and end up with incredible heartburn later from it.

We hit 70° today, hard to believe its November. Although a trip into the grocery store with all its displays going brings a person back into the mood.

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 19 DAYS
Happy Week Into November! (sorry for the late post for Saturday but it seems my post didn't go through). Anyway, We have (had) 19 days remaining until Thanksgiving. That was the count for Saturday. And it was a beautiful day here. It was just awesome. The weather was about as perfect as you can get and we don't expect that type of weather here in November but we received it and were thankful for it. I hope you all really enjoyed your day. It looks like CW is delivering us several great cooking videos as we round out our countdown for 2020. Bonus videos from CW. What could be better than that? Have a great Saturday. Our next milestone is the "Home Stretch" in 9 days. Have a great Week Into November!

We are about 40 points away from having enough Martins Bonus points to redeem our free turkey! They start giving them out beginning this coming weekend. I can't wait!

Happy November Sunday! Oh yeah back to back beautiful weekend days here in November. What could be better than that? Not much I don't think. We have 18 days remaining until Thanksgiving. That's not a ton of days. Our next milestone will be our "Home Stretch" to Thanksgiving. Who is ready and excited for that like I am? I hope all of you are and I hope all of you have loved this thread. We still have some time left in it and the "most important" time at that. My extended family typically celebrates Thanksgiving the Sunday before at a nearby hall, so today would normally be the day we would try to finalize the menu and the number of people expected. Since we won't be getting together as a large group, I am going to focus on adding some new activities to fill up that Sunday and maybe even re-arrange the usual Monday-Weds routine as well. I attended the Fall Fest session on Thanksgiving Tips and I am going to consider making a few more recipes ahead of time!

Happy Trudging Towards Turkey! Indeed in the month of November that is what we do. We trudge one day at a time towards that 4th Thursday of the month when we reach our culmination point of Thanksgiving. Incredible. How many days do we have until then? Look above. We have 17 days remaining until Thanksgiving. That is 2 weeks and a half basically. That's not a ton of time is it? It's still a decent amount of time though so you still have plenty of days to prepare for it. It's just amazing when you think back to November 2019 when we started this count at 360+ days and now to be down to 18. Alright this is a week to really enjoy savor the build that we crave. LOL, now there's one I haven't heard in a long time!
We have successfully gathered the ingredients for our dressing (except for the vegetables, need them to be fresh), and this week I will go to another grocery store here in town that has a large selection of cheeses to choose from for my baked mac and cheese. Picking out my yearly blends is a tradition in itself. Can't wait to see what I end up walking out of the store with this year!
Speaking of gathering ingrediants... I finally found enough of my favorite dried cubes that I can save to use through the year for turkey dinners. Its a good thing that dried stuffing mix has a incredible shelf life..lol
This is a great addition for a Monday morning.
o.k. here is a fun movie. title Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade.... cute plot but not totally chick-a- fide (as my husband would say)... the lead actress is quite funny.
