I am taking the day off work tomorrow. No reason, really. Just for fun.
I can't believe on Monday we will be one week away from Thanksgiving week. Where does the time go? It's a very bittersweet feeling.

Did I always feel this much anticipation for Thanksgiving? I am already thinking about what I will be /could be doing exactly 2 weeks from now!. I hope I will be fully decorated, getting ready to enjoy a meal of leftovers, and enjoying the Christmas lights.
I want to tell you guys, and I think I mentioned it earlier this year, but before 2020, I have NEVER felt such an excitement for Thanksgiving! I hope it is always this way.
My Free Turkey certificate is stuck to the fridge, and I am going to pick it up tomorrow or Saturday! WE HAVE ALMOST MADE IT TO THANKSGIVING, this is so exciting!!

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 13 DAYS
Happy November Teens! Folks, it's Friday! But look at what else it is? It's this: 13 days till Thanksgiving. Yes, less than 2 weeks to go until the big day that we count down to all year long. How incredible. It's a great thing folks. Monday will be our FINAL milestone before the BIG DAY and that will be our "Home Stretch" to Thanksgiving when we reach 10 days. Let's not rush to Monday though shall we? It's Friday! I have been thinking though how next week is going to be amazing. The last week before Thanksgiving. I want it to CRAWL but let's first focus on the weekend ahead. We can talk about next week this weekend. Have a great November Teens!

I agree, this is the most anticipation and excitement that I have ever felt for Halloween and Thanksgiving, and I am grateful I am embracing the joys and appreciating the simple pleasures!

Happy November Weekend! Oh yeah we are in our favorite month here of November still. Our countdown to The Bers has been long over. The countdown to November has been over for a solid 2 weeks now. But there is still some business left to take care of and that is the countdown to Thanksgiving. We see it as the following statistic: 12 days till Thanksgiving. That's a dozen days. It's an amazing time to be here in this thread. On Monday we will celebrate our FINAL MILESTONE before the big day and the end of this thread (which will be the "Home Stretch" to Thanksgiving). That will be huge as we end the double digits countdown. Have a great November Weekend!

Hard to believe we are so close to the home stretch. I guess this is the last "regular" weekend, next week will be holiday "adjacent" and will have a bit more "flutter" to it! But I am going to enjoy today and tomorrow just the same!

Happy Halfway Thru November! Oh yeah we are in the middle of the month that we in this thread love and wait 11 months long for. Pretty incredible to be almost halfway through it now. Today's countdown is simple as it's just 11 days remaining until Thanksgiving. That is it. TOMORROW is Monday but it's also the FINAL milestone we have until umm the 2021 countdown. Yeah no kidding. This is the last stop tomorrow before THANKSGIVING DAY folks. I don't know how else to say it or how to emphasize it more. I remember starting this thread...and here we are now over 350 days later down to just 11 days remaining. Have a great Halfway Thru November!

Here too, Coach, no turkeys in either of the stores I frequent. Quite a few of my co-workers who usually attend larger gatherings are ordering the pre-made meals offered by local grocery stores, I can't wait to hear how they like them. Can't believe tomorrow is our last milestone- and this is my 1,000 post here on MMC, I feel like that is a milestone for me!!!
So close now I can almost smell the Brown n Burns smoking!! I have a love/hate with those rolls that goes back to my youth. Every year you could count on scorched bottoms..lol

HAPPY MILESTONE as we reach the HOME STRETCH to Thanksgiving. This is the final milestone we'll reach in this thread. Oh wait there is 1 more isn't there? It's of course THANKSGIVING which is in 10 days. We'll reach our FINAL destination. Everything this thread was started for will finalize here next week on Thursday. For now, we need to enjoy this week everyone. We've gone through 50 full weeks since Thanksgiving Week of last year. We only have 1 more remaining (this week). Is that scary or exciting? I'm hearing now that people are experiencing difficulty getting turkeys and hams. I'm so glad I started buying them so far in advance! I have TWO spiral hams, and THREE, can you believe that, THREE Turkeys!
We always do a turkey to celebrate Rudolph Day in January, and I wanted to have an extra one just in case.

We finally made it this far. What a wonderful time of year. Lots to be thankful for.
This is prep week for the upcoming Thanksgiving week. I'll deep clean the kitchen in preparation of all the holiday cooking we'll be doing. We've got almost everything bought food wise. So we're good there. I guess we're just waiting on the calendar now.
