Thanksgiving 2020 Thread

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 335 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 310 DAYS
Happy Final Friday of the Year! This is the last time I can say in 2019 TGIF! Well that's ok because we have the weekend ahead and then everyone will get ready for New Years Eve/Day. The Final Festivities of the year as the ball drops and we start a new year. Our Countdown to Thanksgiving 2020 is at 335 days. Our Countdown to November 2020 is down to 310 days. Ahh 10 days to go till the big 300 marker! How about that folks? And on January 1 we will add a 3rd countdown which will in all honesty be the most important one of the 3 counts. It will be the Countdown to the Bers. I did a lot of reflecting yesterday (and yes part of that was on turkey) and really once the Bers hit we were seriously in the season of all these amazing things we love the most. It definitely has gone too fast this year. But I've had a heck of a lot of fun. And I hope you have. Have a great Final Friday of the Year!

I agree, the countdowns give me a boost every time I see them!
We did too. To be honest, the last week from around the 18th of December through even the 26th/27th was so amazing for us. It was the best one yet. We have added people to our traditions (i.e. my brother's new wife) and it only made it better. She already mentioned coming for Christmas 2020. Just made me smile that maybe we have another addict in the family!
One thing I've learned is to appreciate as much as I can about the different times of year. It makes it a lot easier instead of wanting to "rush" to get to the Bers again. Life goes so fast now I don't want to rush anything any faster than it already goes!

Happy Last Weekend of the Year! Wow what happened to 2019? This year has gone so fast it's insane. We have 334 days remaining until Thanksgiving 2020. We also have 309 days remaining until November 2020. And we have 4 days until the Bers count begins here! 3 countdowns all at once going for 8 months long. How fun will that be? The Bers is where it all began. It led us onto this magical 4 month road we've been on. What a ride it has been. We still have a few days left of the Bers to enjoy though including the weekend which begins today. Love those turkey pics CW. They look delicious. I could go for some turkey soon. I don't have any for Christmas time. And it would be nice for a change. I'd love it. But it's ok right now. We may go out to eat dinner tonight. The post Christmas festivities continue. Have a great Last Weekend of the Year!

Happy New Years Eve Eve Eve! The days are winding down in 2019. It's been a heck of a year though. And now our countdowns here in the Thanksgiving thread continue to lower as the year nears its ending. We have 333 days until Thanksgiving 2020 (that's triple 3s). And we have 308 days until November 2020. And we have 3 days until New Years Day January 1 when we begin our Countdown to the Bers! That's going to be a really fun addition to this thread I think and help us out. When we started this thread for last year's count we only had 1 countdown and now we've improved it to 3. And the 2 we added are a lot less of a count than the Thanksgiving one itself. I've been thinking back to September a lot this week. I realize how amazing it was then and how everything seemed to just start up and go crazy after that. Turkey Turkey and Turkey is on my mind today. Have a great New Years Eve Eve Eve!

Guess what happens then HERE? 2 things. #1 we no longer have to say NEXT Thanksgiving or November (no need to refer to it as 2020 anymore). #2 we add a 3rd countdown which will actually give us a HUGE lift here with the Countdown to the Bers where for all intense and purposes we are within the season of all the holidays (including Thanksgiving). That countdown will be significantly lower than these 2: Countdown to Thanksgiving 2020 is 332 days and the Countdown to November 2020 is 307 days. 1 week from today we hit the big #300 to November and start heading into the 2s. But when you see the Bers count your jaw will drop. It isn't nearly as far away as you think. We'll talk about that on Wednesday though. Have a great New Years Eve Eve!
