I'm glad you had a much better and more fun Thanksgiving in 2019 CW. And I hope 2020 will only be better...I'm sure it will for you!This year there was 10 of us. Looks to be a slight uptick in the head count for this Turkey Day.
COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 328 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 303 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 242 DAYS
Happy 1st Friday of the Year! We have a little bit of rain this morning but that won't damper our Friday now will it? We have 328 days left until Thanksgiving. I know that's still a whole heck of a lot. But we have 303 days until November which is...still a lot lol. However, we have 242 days until the Bers. And that may still be a lot...but not quite as much of a lot as the other 2 counts. Ok enough of a lot today...let's say TGIF to each other and maybe the T stands for Turkey and not only Thank. I was looking at the Thanksgiving Macy's Parade yesterday on my DVR and was tempted to put it on. I think one day this winter when it's snowing and I'm home I may do it. I may have to cave in and get my fill of Thanksgiving in the winter time. Still plenty of Christmas lights around here to report and should be that way for the foreseeable future. Anyway, time for Friday. Have a great 1st Friday of the Year!

Today marked the end of my gravy and trimmings season, but as we have had very little snow here I am still hoping for a few days of feeling the coziness of winter, and for me Thanksgiving is the start of that cozy feeling. Happy Friday!

Happy 1st Weekend of the Year! Oh yeah 2020 is off to a good start here. The weather? Not so much. Not much sun Friday and none predicted for today on Saturday. Boo but it's mild out so we haven't been dealing with the brutal cold or anything this winter season yet. We actually had colder weather in the 2nd half of Autumn than we have (so far) in the first few weeks of official winter time. Let's get to our countdowns. We have 327 days until Thanksgiving. We have 302 days until November (MONDAY we hit the big 300!). And we have 241 days until the Bers. Now I don't want to take away our focus from the TOP countdown (Thanksgiving) because that is the ULTIMATE goal here. But with that Bers countdown added I think it seems a lot more manageable to at least get back to "our time of year" or what I call "Home" which is known as the Bers. Still tons of time to get ready for it though here in early January. Have a great 1st Weekend of the Year!

Happy NFL Playoff Sunday! We have 326 days left until Thanksgiving. We have 301 days left until November (that means TOMORROW we reach a big one at 300). And we have 240 days left until the Bers begin. The Bers ahh. 240 days sounds like such a round #. If you think about it 8 Non Ber months X 30 days per month (roughly) gives you 240 days. That's what we face here. But plenty of fun things on the ride back to the Bers. Yesterday I watched a couple of really good NFL Playoff games while doing errands and relaxing too. A good Saturday despite the foggy and damp dreary weather. Today should be better as we see the sun come out but a little chillier. But it's January. It's supposed to be chilly. Kind of like November except usually worse than that. November ahh yes what memories I have of it. And what new memories are to come this year with turkeys being the centerpiece. We watched the games too! It is chilly but like you said it is January..they are saying we may get a storm Tues into Wed? Who knows?
Cold and flurries here today. They say not to expect sun until Thursday now. Another blah week.
Tonight is the end of the 2 week holidays. Christmas Week and New Years Week always feel weird. The other 50 weeks of the year feel normal...well except for 1 ...and we know what that is don't we? Any guesses? Raise your hand first CW before shouting out the answer!
