This is a big week, I thought looking at the last 7 days of February was exciting, but those stats are a real boost! It doesn't hurt that the sun is shining on this beautiful Sunday morning. Have a great day!

I wish I was at @Minta 's house today for the Thanksgiving feast. It sounds wonderfully delicious. I'm looking forward to March too! Come on Spring.

The house definitely smells great and I am starving. I am skipping lunch so I can enjoy dinner :) I just wish it was actually Thanksgiving where can go black friday shopping and start decorating for Christmas after dinner.

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 276 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 251 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 190 DAYS

Happy Last Week of February! This is the big week here everyone. We have a ton of stuff to celebrate here this week. First of all even though this is the Thanksgiving Countdown Thread let's start it off Monday with saying Happy 10 months till Christmas Eve! Now our goals here are shorter than that. We have 276 days until Thanksgiving. We have 251 days until November. And we have 190 days until the Bers. All 3 counts are closer than Christmas Eve. That's a plus. It is hard to believe though that 2 months ago was December 24th. Today on February 24th though we all here are ready to move forward with February as it winds down slowly throughout this week into next weekend when March will arrive. Sounds fun and exciting. And I'm eyeing you few who said you may be having turkey soon. Pass some pics/leftovers for us. We need some. Have a great Last Week of February!

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 275 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 250 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 189 DAYS

Happy Nearing End of February! This 2nd month of the year has moved too fast. Happy Rudolph Day #2 by the way to all of you Thanksgiving fans. But we have other business here to attend to including a certain milestone today. Let's take a look and find out what that is. 275 days remain until Thanksgiving. 250 days remain until November. 189 days remain until the Bers. Ok you can now see the milestone I was referencing as we are at the big 250 marker to November! Amazing. We knocked off over 100 days in the November count. And here we go from 300 down halfway to 200. Alright. Tomorrow? Oh we just have another milestone here. That's how we do things in this thread. Always something coming up that's big. Tune in tomorrow to find out what that is turkey lovers. I think most you already know though. Until then gobble till you wobble. Have a great Nearing End of February!

That is quite a sight-- 250 days until 11/1

Just another day closer to all the best things we love. Been a good day here. Hope yours has as well. Another milestone tomorrow. Rudolph Day #2...means tomorrow is our "26th"...and it's not the 1st...or the 2nd...to give you a clue as to what tomorrow is.

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 274 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 249 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 188 DAYS

Happy Final Mid-Week of February! Yes indeed this 2nd month of the year continues to wind down. Let's take a look at our counts (which fortunately aren't close to winding down any time soon). We have 274 days until Thanksgiving; 249 days until November; and 188 days until the Bers. Not winding down but all 3 moving in the right direction. And today is a milestone. We have reached our 3rd "26th". Believe it or not that means we have 3 down and 1 to go. Tomorrow will be the official 1/4 marker to Thanksgiving day. We'll celebrate that here with a special Bi-Weekly poll that we love doing here. I've got a couple ideas that I narrowed it down to so stay tuned tomorrow for our special Thursday we love to celebrate here in this thread every week. Oh it should be fun I hope. And I hope everyone is as well as they are on Thanksgiving Day. Have a great Fina Mid-Week of February!

Let us know how it turns out if you do!

I tried a version with ground mustard, a mix of Velveeta and shredded cheddar, bread crumbs, and what seemed like a lot of black pepper, but it was pretty good! It was creamier than the one I made for last Thanksgiving and had a nice flavor. If I had it to do over I would have not used such fine bread crumbs to top it, but overall, it is a contender. I am not sure how I will decide the winner, but I am sure I will enjoy the process and it is a nice way to celebrate the 26th Part III and look both back and ahead!

It's good to try something different. And it's good practice for the "real" 26th later this year!
