COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 198 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 173 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 112 DAYS
Happy Dozen Days of May! A beautiful sunny (but chilly) start here. And now as I mentioned yesterday we have our counts here all as 1s for now. But NOT for much longer. What do I mean? Let's look: 198 to Thanksgiving, 173 to November, and 112 to the Bers. And you can see that final count on our list (the Bers) is down to only 12 days from the 100 day marker which will happen on Memorial Day Eve. And then? Well 2 digit counts begin. YEAH! That's unbelievable. The day after Memorial Day we'll reach our 6th "26th" and the following day we'll reach our Halfway to Thanksgiving marker and then we're ALL DOWNHILL from there. It's a daunting hill we start up on Black Friday and yet we're almost near the top of it already. I don't know how it's gone so fast but can we slow the 2nd half of it? I hope so. Happy Middle May Mid-Week! Moving along in the month of May with another sunny start here. Still chilly for Mid-May but that looks to change by the end of the week going into next week also. Our counts are the following this morning: 197 days till Thanksgiving, 172 days till November, and 111 days till the Bers. We know that in 11 days we'll see that Bers count down to 100. It's triple 1's today. After that during Memorial Day Week we have our 6th "26th" and Halfway to Thanksgiving markers. Pretty awesome don't you think? Memorial Day Weekend is always a huge turning point and these countdowns just confirm that. Tomorrow is Thursday so let's hope that our best friend CW will post a great video clip for us like he does every other Thursday. Thanks for helping out CW. Happy May Friday Eve! It is the day before Friday but to us we call it THURSDAY because that's our favorite day of the week in this thread. CW will be by shortly to post a video for us like he does every other Thursday. Our counts? I'm glad you asked because I have them right here for you. They are (196 to Thanksgiving, 171 to November, 110 to the Bers). And in 10 days folks we'll reach the 100 day to the Bers milestone. That's almost too much to handle. The excitement level is crazy. And of course we have other milestones right after that as we mentioned including the Halfway to Thanksgiving one on the 27th of this month. By the way since it's Thursday I will tell you our weekly count to Thanksgiving stands at 28 weeks now. And we are only 2 weeks away from the Halfway Weeks to Thanksgiving Marker. Enough milestones ahead in the 2nd half of May? I'd say so and they are the biggest ones yet in this thread. Have a great May Friday Eve!

Happy End of 1st Half of May! Wow a new look on MMC here in the middle of May. But you know what? Same Countdown! We have 195 days till Thanksgiving. We have 170 days till November. And we have 109 days till the Bers. 9 days left until we reach that magical 100 day marker to the Bers. After that? Our 6th "26th" followed by the Halfway to Thanksgiving Day marker (probably the biggest marker in this countdown since we'll be all downhill in all 3 counts then). I must say I like the new look of the site. Thanks to CW yesterday for delivering a great post as he always does. We all appreciate it here I know. And I'll try to come up with a good poll for next Thursday. That will be when we're heading towards Memorial Day Weekend incredibly. A bit of a damp start but you can feel the warm/humid weather starting up today. Doesn't feel like Thanksgiving today and won't too often this coming summer I'm sure. Let's get to our 3 countdowns here on the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend (one of the biggest of the year). They are the following: 194 days till Thanksgiving, 169 days till November, and 108 days till the Bers. That's the 3 counts I'm talking about here. Were you thinking I was talking about something else? Not in this thread! Never...Ever! Those are the 3 we all love here. And guess what? You can see in 8 days we'll reach the monumental milestone of the 100 days countdown to the Bers. That's a HUGE marker in this count and will make everything seem closer to being here. No rush though as we have a summer to enjoy first. Don't rush it because you know some day we'll be saying how it's gone too fast and we're here now. I know that happens every year. I love looking for the first signs of Christmas too. I always dislike the rumbling of other people who complain about the first signs of Christmas, but this year maybe everyone will have other things to grumble about. I think a little cheer is just what we need.
It's ironic this year we may have "less" stuff for the Bers. Certain things we are used to might be canceled or not happen (i.e. my Halloween trail I fear is in jeopardy). But on the bright side I think we're all going to relearn to appreciate every little thing we do have. Something as simple as being able to be home for Thanksgiving with some of our family and enjoy turkey. Football - even if there aren't any fans in the buildings to see football on t.v. in the fall we will all appreciate more than ever. It's going to be a heck of a Bers in that way. And despite how challenging 2020 has been for most of us...I think in a way it's teaching us how important every single day really is and not to take anything for granted. It certainly has taught me that.
