Happy Merrily Marching MMC! It's Thursday and that means its poll day since CW delivered last week for us. We have 259 days till Thanksgiving, 235 days till November, and 174 days till The Bers. Our next milestone(s) are the following: 250 Day Marker to Thanksgiving & Arrival of Spring (both on Saturday, March 20th). That's in 9 days folks! But in 9 SECONDS we have our next poll coming. Ready? Here goes!
At this point (if you had to guess) how would you describe the 2021 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will look?
A.) There won't be one.
B.) There will be one without spectators again.
C.) There will be one with partial spectators. (50% or less of what normally shows up)
D.) There will be one with full spectators (at least 75% of what normally shows up).
I'm going to go with D. I'm being optimistic at this point. It could fall between C & D of course 50-75% but I think by November we'll be able to get at least 75% in there. Let's see. What about you? Have a great Merrily Marching!​
 
I'm going to say D also. I feel like by that point the majority of folks will have been vaccinated, and the CDC is already loosening up restrictions a bit (e.g. nursing home residents can now receive hugs). It might be optimistic and a little naive of me to assume that the parade will be a return to its former glory, but since we're seeing things like high school bands from outside of New York being invited to participate, I gotta think that Macy's is going all-out for this year.
 
I am hoping for C, because I think if the spectators are limited there is a better chance that more parade participants will be allowed. What I mean by that is that more high schools may allow their bands, poms, etc... to participate if the crowds aren't as massive, does that make sense?

Happy Dozen Days of March! Who's happy it's Friday? I am. And I know you are as well most likely. Well you might also be happy about the following 3 countdowns: 258 days till Thanksgiving, 234 days till November, and 173 days till The Bers. Those 3 counts are moving ahead nice and easy folks aren't they? Well our next 2 milestones will happen on the same day which happens to be in 8 days (1 week from Saturday). They will be the 250 Day Marker to Thanksgiving and the Arrival of Spring. Thank you to all who participated in our poll yesterday. That was fun and I like to see how hopeful we are about this year's Thanksgiving Parade surpassing last year's. We'll see as we go and journey through the spring and summer how things go. Now I'm off to get my day started. Have a great Dozen Days of March!​

Happy March Teens! Oh yeah we have made it to another weekend folks. Best part? We're into the LAST WEEKEND OF WINTER! The next one? Christmas Weekend. I kid you not. Now let's focus on what we really focus on in this thread and that is the above 3 counts: 257 days till Thanksgiving, 233 days till November, and 172 days till The Bers. Our next milestone is 1 week from today folks. I'm sorry. It's not our next "milestone"...I need to add an "s" on to that word. We have 2 milestones next Saturday which are the Arrival of Spring & the 250 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. Both are big ones and they both happen on a Special Saturday 1 week from today. That is enough to get any Thanksgiving Fan, Autumn Fan and Bers Fan excited. I think that it will be awesome for sure. Have a great March Teens!​
 
I can't believe that our next winter weekend of 2021 will be Christmas! The end is the beginning, but so many things to look forward too- but thanks to Edge for framing this week in such a way to make it feel so special to say goodbye to winter!

Happy Spring Ahead! We have sprung ahead and lost an hour (which we will get back in the fall). But we have only lost 1 in each of our 3 counts which is the same every single day. We have 256 days till Thanksgiving, 232 days till November, and 171 days till The Bers. That's right. All 3 have moved correctly in the right direction this morning. Our next milestone(s) happen on Saturday when we reach the 250 Day Marker to Thanksgiving & the Arrival of Spring. And boy are we looking forward to both of those. I know that I am. We are definitely in a good situation with these 3 counts. We have a great week ahead with the double milestones next Saturday. Amazing. Of course I'll give you the weekly countdown on Monday to the best week of the year. And CW will be back on Thursday with a great video. Have a great Spring Ahead!​
