Thanksgiving 2021 Thread

Looking forward to the week ahead, it is a busy one and the older I get the harder I seem to be able to adjust to the time change, but I am looking forward to St. Patrick's Day and hitting two new milestones, and always like to see the Weekly Countdowns and seeing those Mondays tick by.

I was hoping it wasn't just me. I don't sleep well for about a week after the time change. It takes a while for my body to adjust.

Edge, speaking of the time change, I really like how you said we'll get it back in the Fall. I never thought of it as Spring "borrowing" an hour that will be returned to us since it's always framed as us "losing" an hour. Puts a more positive spin on it, and it's just one more reason to look forward to the Fall. Nice!

I'm ready for those milestones, but we have to make it through this week first. Let's go!

"Fall back" is one of those off-holidays I always celebrate in little ways. I have chores that I do on Spring Ahead/Fall Back weekends, but in the fall I always do something fun to welcome the time change and the shorter days and the approach of winter.
 
I was talking about the "Fall Back" just a couple of days ago. I have been waiting for the time to change now for many weeks, ever since I started hitting the winter doldrums so to speak in late February. I'll make it usually until around the end of June before the hot & humid weather gets me, and then I'm begging for those early evenings and cool nights again.

That mid-summer heat will make us look forward towards Autumn!

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 231
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 170

Happy Ides Of March! It's freezing cold out there this morning like in the middle of winter even though this is the last week of winter. Today's 3 counts are as follows: 255 days till Thanksgiving, 231 days till November, and 170 days till The Bers. Our next 2 milestones happen this coming Saturday folks as we welcome in the Arrival of Spring & the 250 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. That's big and it's Monday today folks so we have to do our big weekly countdown to the best week of the year (Thanksgiving Week). Believe it or not toady we have reached 36 weeks till Thanksgiving Week. That's big. Yes, that is pretty amazing indeed. We're getting closer to the 1/3 marker in week which will happen in 2 weeks. Woohoo. Just love how Mondays remind us of Thanksgiving Week in this thread. Now all you turkey lovers it's time to enjoy your Monday. Have a great Ides Of March!

DAYS TILL THE BERS: 169

Happy Middle Day Of March! We have made it to the middle day of the month. 15 days behind us and 15 ahead of us after today. Our 3 milestones look as follows: 254 days till Thanksgiving, 230 days till November, and 169 days till The Bers. Our next 2 milestones happen on Saturday. We will reach the 250 Day Marker to Thanksgiving & the Arrival of Spring. Those will both be big. Which will be bigger? Tough to say but be here for both of them. And it's Tuesday so let's continue moving into our week steadily here. Those pictures from CW sure made me hungry. Everyone enjoying the time change or not? I know that I enjoyed the fact the sun was out at 7PM yesterday. It felt so good. But when the time changes the other way in November we'll be here celebrating Thanksgiving Season. Have a great Middle Day Of March!​
