DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 176
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 152
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 91

Happy Joining June! We definitely joined it yesterday folks and continue into it today on the 2nd day of that long 3 month summer road back to The Bers. Our 3 countdowns look as follows: 176 days till Thanksgiving, 152 days till November, and 91 days till The Bers. Our next milestone will take place in 2 days (or should I say the day after tomorrow) when we reach the 150 Day Marker Till November. That will be another big one for sure. Lots of fun stuff here this summer, vacations, and relaxation. I love summer time. I have 2 vacations planned. 1 in June and 1 in July. That's how I like to plan them. And I love having off this time of the year. And focusing on our countdowns more and more. Oh yeah and Thursday (which is tomorrow of course) we will have a special poll as we do every other Thursday. We really are starting to move nicely along folks. Hold on to your seats and take in every moment of this summer. It's imperative to enjoy this season. Have a great Joining June!

We hit 150 Days to Halloween TOMORROW over in the Halloween Thread, so having back to back Milestones are always awesome. Like you said, we really are indeed moving along.

I am enjoying Thursday Eve and thinking about all of the Milestones we have ahead of us. This thread makes me think that it really is the journey, not the destination, right up until the Sunday night before Thanksgiving Week than it is totally about the destination!

Oh wow you just reminded me I forgot to post the weekly countdown to Thanksgiving on Monday! Oops...well it's 25 folks! Sorry I think Memorial Day threw me off!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 175
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 151
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 90

Happy Joyous June! Oh yeah it's joyous we are in this great and awesome month of June. And it's Thursday so there will be a poll below. First let's look at our 3 stats above. We have 175 days till Thanksgiving, 151 days till November, and 90 days till The Bers. Our next milestone is TOMORROW folks when we reach the 150 Day Marker Till November. A big one indeed! Well with it being Thursday here is a poll for all of you to enjoy!
How is your excitement level when you wake up on Thanksgiving compared to when you wake up on Christmas?
A.) The same
B.) Thanksgiving excitement is greater.
C.) Christmas excitement is greater.
D.) I am not excited either morning when I wake up.

Nobody better choose D lol. I'm going to say A though. It's hard to decide which is greater. Honestly, Christmas has more of the "ending" feeling which puts a very small damper on it. That's why if anything I'd choose Thanksgiving over Christmas morning. But of course all the gifts and the fact we made it to Christmas is an unreal feeling. It's a tough choice so I stick with A. Have a great Joyous June!

I agree, it is A for me too. Thanksgiving morning is filled with anticipation and excitement, and Christmas morning, for me, is joyous, but it is definitely the beginning of the end of the excitement. Both are totally great and magical in their own ways, and how lucky we are to have the rest of the year to look forward to them!

I think of the answers given, "A" is the closest for me. I am glad you point out about the "ending" feeling of Christmas Day. It is true for me. Many Christmas Days / Evenings I have felt that damper, I would even compare it to a very mild sadness. But much like "the feels", I think it is more of a "happy sadness" because of how Special Christmas is. Last year I didn't get any of that at all, I really think it was from the Pandemic. I remember last year Christmas evening being really raring to go for a new countdown, and I didn't really even feel the PCB's like I have in past years.

Yep! It's A for me also.

But when I was a kid, C. I didn't even care if Thanksgiving came around back then. Just give me some presents!!! :p

Happy Thursday everybody! Stopping in with a bonus video today. I have always disliked lumpy mashed taters myself and often struggle to get them to that perfect texture. Lets see if this cook can accomplish it.

I'm on team Lumpy. But I'll eat creamy all the same. Just give me some gravy. :)

This is a toughy, but I'm giving the slightest of nods to option B. The only reason Thanksgiving wins out is because there is a finality to Christmas Day; it is the culmination that we have waited all year for, and I'm very aware of that when I wake up on Christmas morning. When I wake up on Thanksgiving morning, I'm excited because the best time of the year is happening right then and there, and I'm not worried that it's going to end that night and seriously bum me out for the next week.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 174
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 150
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 89

Happy June TGIF! We are into another Friday folks with a big early summer weekend ahead. That's how I'm looking at things right now. And I'm looking at 3 countdowns right now in the following way: 174 days till Thanksgiving, 150 days till November, and 89 days till The Bers. And you can plainly see we have a MILESTONE today folks. It's the 150 Day Marker Till November. Isn't that exciting? I hope you all enjoyed the poll as well as CW coming around and surprising us. Our next milestone folks is in 16 days which will be the arrival of summer (officially). I know most of us consider summer has already begun but technically it hasn't. And it continues into the early part of The Bers. And hey that's a great thing. It should be fun to celebrate summer's arrival officially. Of course that will be the 3rd and final season before we arrive back home in Autumn. That is something I know we all look forward to all summer long. I'm here just trying to hold on to everything this summer first though. And squeeze it tight and enjoy the warmth. Have a great June TGIF!
