Thanksgiving 2022 Thread

Mine usually falls between C and D, usually around now. It all depends on what I'm planning.
I've had some very lonely Thanksgivings when I was all alone and I've had some spectacular ones surrounded by friends.
I think I planned more when I was working. Teaching at the college, I always put up decorations in my office early. I had my syllabi for the Spring semester done even before the Fall semester started, so I could devote a lot of time to the holiday season. I was very fortunate to have that job.
So.....this year will be interesting. I'm really not sure who will join me but I do know I will have my SIL and one close friend. I always invite someone who will be alone and it has worked well.

ah this year its goona be hard since mama passed in january....right now my brother i take care of is in the hospital.not sure whats gonna happen..i may have a nice feast tho...things arent so well not sure yet

Happy Autumn Arrives! Today folks we have 63 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 40 days left until November. Our next milestones are HERE folks. Today AUTUMN ARRIVES. And it’s also TOM TURKEY DAY #10! Why am I shouting? Good question but I’m just excited. Aren’t you? The best season of all is here and now our Awesome Autumn in this thread really can pick up steam. Our next milestone folks truly excites my heart so much but also spooks me out (in more than one way). It is the Arrival Of October. It will happen 1 week from Saturday. It will be the beginning of the 11th and FINAL month on our way back to November. It will be the beginning of Halloween month (you all know I’m a Halloween crazy). I can’t believe it folks. Oh no I just thought of a really crazy hard poll lol. I’m going to ask it next Wednesday. Let me write it down before I forget like CW forgot his cranberry sauce last year. Funny he text me it and I “locked” that text so if I go and delete all of his texts it shows only one text “I FORGOT THE CRANBERRY SAUCE!!!!” It was Thanksgiving Day. Incredible. But we all will remind and support CW this year so he will not forget it this year. And maybe he’ll even open an extra can. And maybe he’ll deliver us a great video today as well. Have a great Autumn Arrives!

Just so you know I have left that can of cranberry sauce in the fridge..lol. Everybody knows not to touch it, it has become one of those old baking soda penguins that used to reside in fridges for years.

Happy Tom Turkey Day! Today's celebratory turkey item will be a Jamaican Jerk Turkey Sandwich from Firehouse Subs! Not very "Autumn," I know, but it still counts!

Prayers for your brother. And prayers for you, that first year after losing a parents is sometimes hard, all those holidays and birthdays that were full of traditions. But you can do it.
We had turkey burgers, mexican corn and waffle fries.
Happy first day of Fall, this may be my 2nd favorite Thursday of 2022!
