Glad you got the medicine. I react the same way to antibiotics but having an ear infection for Thanksgiving would be worse..

Definitely, I am glad I went, and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they got me in. I am grateful all around!

Also, saw our local news guy say our updated winter forecast temperature has increased and they're expecting an, overall, mild winter. Take it with a grain of salt.

Happy Weekend Before Thanksgiving! Today folks we have 5 days left until Thanksgiving. Geez. We’re down to one hand now. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh folks I’m really feeling like we need to do something this weekend before it’s too late. Like get the turkey ready! Or take out the special decorations! Or call a family member who you will see on Thanksgiving and get excited about it ahead of time. Let’s not wait till it “hits us.” Let’s prepare. We move along through the final stages of our “Awesome Autumn” and I am doing what I did last year folks. I am not touching next year’s thread until Wednesday (Thanksgiving Eve). I always leave work early that day and it’s a laid back afternoon/evening session for me. A good time to reflect and prepare for the BIG DAY. So how you feeling today this close folks? There isn’t much left for me to say at this point. There are no other milestones until we reach the ULTIMATE DESTINATION which is the most amazing day of the entire year: Thanksgiving. It’s the day this thread is all about. It’s the best overall day of the year. And on and on and on. You can tell I’m hyped I’m sure. I’m thinking that we need to really think about where we are. Our whole “Weekly Countdown” is gone folks. On Monday the BIG week will be here. Are you really ready? If you’re not you got one full weekend left to get ready for it. I'm so sorry your daughter tested positive for Covid but so glad they sent her right to the ER. Prayers she will start to feel better.

I had 2 and they were worse than having the flu in July. A month after the 2nd we all got Covid...well thats it for me..lol
Happy Saturday everyone! I am still missing my Brown n Burns for Thanksgiving and we have found none anywhere. Looks like I might have to get my aunt to make rolls, I was going to buy those Hawaiin rolls but the price is disgusting just for 1 package. Maybe tonite I can find some.

Happy Calm Before The Storm! Today folks we have 4 days remaining until Thanksgiving. If you haven’t guessed by now well our next and final milestone is really the ultimate destination of this thread and it happens on Thursday. I’ll give you a guess as to what it is. Yeah…it’s THANKSGIVING! I got my 23lb turkey yesterday. Happy with it. Got my stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, biscuits and more. I think that I’m mostly ready now which is good. Our “Awesome Autumn” is winding down the next few days and it felt more like winter this weekend. Temperatures should moderate though leading up until Thanksgiving. We’ll see. I’m working Monday, Tuesday and half day Wednesday. Wednesday is the day I bring in breakfast every year. It’s a special morning. I always love that morning at work more than any other. It just feels so different even more than the days leading up to Christmas. Very awesome and great feeling I’m looking forward to. Now for all you turkey fans I hope you’re doing ok and ready for what is to come. It’s amazing folks. This is where we are. Yesterday it really hit me bad. And today it will only continue and heighten. Look where we are turkey fans. Tomorrow is Monday and our countdown will be a big goose egg. That’s not a spoiler. It’s the obvious truth. I have heard that from several people. I am praying that we are all healthy for Thanksgiving. Do you think that your Covid was less serious because you were vaccinated? My daughter is vaccinated--and had a shot from the chemo place to rev up her immune defenses and is still sicker than can be imagined.
I bought a cauliflower on Friday and I didn't pay the attention to the price I should have. It was a big one, but still, it was almost $7.00.
