I enjoy a quiet Sunday too, I used to dread them until I realized that I was leaving all of the crappy tasks until Sunday, now I try to keep Sunday for enjoyable things or plain relaxing, but I do miss having a special show to watch to talk about on Mondays.

Happy Double Digits July! Today folks we have 136 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 114 days to go until November, and 53 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will happen on Thursday folks. And it will be the 50-Day Marker till The Bers. And it will begin the 50-Day Preview of The Bers in the Hang Out. And it will truly be the heart of summer. And that’s why we do that preview every year to help us through the “dog days of summer” which if you look up the history of that phrase almost lines up symmetrically with those 50 days. We move ahead in our Summer Sweatfest (still in the first half for a few more days) and it’s Monday so we begin our week with our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week: 19 weeks. Wow. Into the teens folks. I don’t miss my teenage years but seeing the countdown is the teens is fantastic and marvelous too. Keep it real turkey fans and have a good start to the week. Enjoy it as much as you can. And have the best Monday ever. It looks to be an interesting week with such a big turning point on Thursday. Truly that is the last turning point I really look at. Then it’s fully heart of summer and The Bers of course to follow. Amazing. It’s awesome. Have a great Double Digits July!​
 
Happy Monday! I think the entire MMC universe is waiting for Thursday. I was even thinking about it last night. This week is indeed a big turning point. Three full weeks of July left. Let's Gooo! Gobble Gobble!
 
Seeing that the weeks until Thanksgiving have entered into the teens it’s super exciting! It makes me want to watch one of the old parades.

Happy 7-11! Today folks we have 135 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 113 days to go until November, and 52 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the day after tomorrow. It will be the 50-Day Marker till The Bers. And it will begin a big preview that we all love in the Hang Out. You know what that is I am sure. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest on this Tuesday thinking about Picture Day of course. I like Picture Day. It’s simple but fun and I enjoy seeing what pictures everyone posts of turkey, fall, Thanksgiving, anything that makes us think of those cooler autumn days ahead. Right now we’re in the heart of summer and the heart of sweating. Turkey fans just know that no matter how much you sweat it’s not as hot as the oven being on all day on Thanksgiving cooking all the great food we love. And I hope you get to enjoy your Tuesday today folks and the entire week we are currently in which is now day 2 today. Keep it going turkey fans through the heat and humidity. And stay cool with you’re a/c on. Don’t let it break. It’s valuable. Take care of it. And think about all the cooler times when you won’t be sweating as much when it’s not hardcore summer like it is now. Have a great 7-11!​

Happy Dozen Days Of July! Today folks we have 134 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 112 days to go until November, and 51 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be tomorrow folks as we reach the amazing milestone of the 50-Day Marker till The Bers. Be here for it with me my friends. And we move along in our Summer Sweatfest trying to stay cool. It may hit 90 today. Ugh. But actually dare I say I’ve gotten used to it? Maybe I have a bit. Now let’s do our Weekly Poll here Wednesday style my friends!

What is your favorite date of the summer?​

  • June 21 – Summer Solstice​
  • July 4th – Independence Day​
  • July 13th – Start of the 50-Day Preview of The Bers​
  • August 31 – The end of summer unofficially​
  • Tough one I know but I’m going with B. I love 4th of July as I’ve said and it’s one of those days that nobody talks about on this site because it’s not in The Bers but I feel it is the best Non-Bers day of the year. I love that day and all the traditions that go with it. How about you? Keep it real turkey fans. Have a great Dozen Days Of July!​
 
Now this is a tough choice! All of the above are legitimate options. However, I think I'm going to go with D. My excitement levels are at a fever pitch on the last day before the Bers. A and C are also extremely exciting, but I don't think my excitement on those days matches how I feel on the 31st, and B is more of a laid-back, relaxed day for me.

Wow. Another really tough one here. The only one I can easily eliminate is A. But If I have to pick one out of the final 3 it would be 4th of July. It has way to many great memories for me. It is the mecca holiday for the summer season. I love looking forward to the Bers but I just got to give the 4th its due here.
