DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 139
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 117
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 56

Happy Week Into July! Today folks we have 139 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 117 days to go until November, and 56 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the 50-Day Marker till The Bers. It will be in less than 1 week. And it will be major for sure. It will be exciting for it to happen and I’m looking forward to it greatly. But right now we move along in our Summer Sweatfest and enjoying the heat as much as we can? Maybe we do so by staying in some a/c at times. Turkey fans we won’t need the a/c on for Thanksgiving I am sure but we may need a little fan on in the kitchen after that oven is going all day cooking us our favorite meal of the year: Thanksgiving dinner. Ahh yes. Thank you turkey fans for being here with me today. And now we begin our 3-day quiet weekend here in this thread which we really do need after a long week. Keep it real turkey fans and be good today. Be safe out there and stay cool too. And enjoy your TGIF. Have the best time you can this weekend ahead but we’ll be talking during it of course as long as you stop by to say Hi to us. I hope you all have had a great week thus far and that your week ends on a very positive note. Believe in it and it will happen. Have a great Week Into July!

20 weeks from today is Black Friday.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 138
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 116
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 55

Happy July Weekend! Today folks we have 138 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 116 days to go until November, and 55 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be in 5 days. It will be the 50-Day Marker till The Bers. It is the biggest milestone in some ways because everyone looks forward to the 50-Day Preview of The Bers in the Hang Out. We move along into Day 2 of 3 in our 3-day quiet weekend. We do this every week folks so it’s nice to really take it all in and enjoy every moment of it as much as you can. And the Summer Sweatfest continues. We will really move into it now right into the heart of it. We are moving along though towards the mid-point of it which will be next week when we hit that next milestone on Thursday. I’m hoping all of you had a very good and enjoyable week this week. And I hope all of you get to have a fun/relaxing weekend like I have planned. Sometimes nothing beats a relaxing weekend you know? And this is one that I am looking forward to enjoying as much as I possibly can. It is an amazing time to be here in the heart of summer now. Really this is like being in early/mid January in winter. Stuck in the depths of it but knowing about all the great things ahead too. Turkey fans unite. Have a great July Weekend!

20 weeks from today is Black Friday
What a wonderful reminder! Each week, Monday-Wednesday I am filled with thoughts of my Thanksgiving Week routine, but thinking about Black Friday and the Saturday after is a new level of excitement! I guess it proves that Thanksgiving night is my official start of Christmas but really the Friday and Saturday are just as much a part of Thanksgiving Week! Gobble Gobble

What a glorious time it is. I can't wait!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 141
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 119
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 58

Happy Post 4th! Today folks we have 141 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 119 days left until November, and 58 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone is in 1 week + 1 day folks and it’s one of the most highly anticipated milestones there is. It will be the 50-Day Marker till The Bers when our 50-Day Preview of The Bers begins in the Holiday Hangout. We are in the first half of our Summer Sweatfest but boy we’re making up for it lately after a slow start. And today we move along and look at our Weekly Wednesday Poll!

What’s the slowest time of year?

  • The heart of summer (July 5 – August 31)
  • The Bers (I wish)
  • Spring
  • January
  • Well for this one I have to say I wish it was B obviously. But I can’t say it is. And I can’t say C. Normally I’d say D. But the last couple of years I actually think it’s more A now. A is my answer. I feel like with the humidity and heat day after day even in an average summer it really does slow things down. That’s how I’ve felt lately and maybe our Preview of The Bers we do to help everyone through the heart of summer. What about you? Turkey fans let me know your answer on the poll. Have a great Post 4th!
Today, I vote D. Ask me again in two weeks...probably a different answer.

I'm within 12 days or so of hitting the peak hottest days here. We should be slowly swinging back down by the 3rd / 4th week of July. We are making our way through the sweat fest slow and steady. We had two days hit 90 last week, which is appropriate when you think of people saying "Hot as the 4th of July". I like looking at the long range projections. By the end of July we lose between 3 and 5 degrees for the overnight low. You can ALMOST open the windows at night again. By mid August we are projected to have nights down in the low 60's and even some 50's. That's for sure "open window" time! Gobble Gobble!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 137
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 115
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 54

Happy Summer Sunday! Today folks we have 137 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 115 days to go until November, and 54 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Thursday and it will be the 50-Day Marker till The Bers. I think you all know what happens then in the Hang Out. Hope to see you there. But seeing you here is my priority in this thread. And we have to move along in our Summer Sweatfest here. It will be the halfway of the Sweatfest when we reach Thursday. The 2nd half will begin then. For now folks we try to enjoy the final day of our 3-day quiet period in this thread. And I think all of us will on this Sunday. Nothing beats a quiet Sunday does it? I treasure when I have them. They mean a lot to me especially before a 5-day work week which will eventually happen and show up at our doorstep. Keep it real my turkey friends and I hope all of you are staying cool in the heat and/or humidity depending on where you are. Maybe it’s cool where you are. If it is you can send some mine way. But luckily my A/C continues to be my MVP this summer. It really is invaluable. Have a great time today with family/friends or just chilling on your own no matter what your plans are thinking turkey thoughts. Have a great Summer Sunday!
