Welcome to August and Fall pre-season!!!

Another tablescape for me, though after watching Christmas in July and wanting room for dishes and drinks I may need to look for simpler inspiration! I do like the craft paper used as a runner in this picture and may give it a try, but without the writing.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 113
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 91
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 30

Happy August Arrives! Today folks we have 113 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 91 days to go until November, and 30 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the major 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. It will be in less than 2 weeks. Crazy. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest feeling less sweaty so far this week than we did last week for sure. And we move along with our Weekly Wednesday Poll which is the following this week:

What is your favorite weekly theme in this thread?

  • Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving
  • Picture Day
  • Weekly Poll
  • Thanksgiving Thought Thursday
  • I’m going to go with D. Although, I really do like the poll too. But I like talking something specific when it comes to Thursdays about Thanksgiving because really Thanksgiving goes with Thursday more than any holiday goes with any individual specific date. Keep it real turkey fans. Have a great August Mid-Week!

My answer is C. I like the weekly poll. D is great also. It gets you thinking deeper about Thanksgiving. B is a lot of fun too. It gets me excited seeing the pictures. Although A is very special. It gets me thinking about the entire Thanksgiving week. Ok, I like them all. But C is my fav.

I am going with C even though I like them all. The polls really challenge me, sometimes I ponder them for a long time, sometimes I pick one quickly. Sometimes I can't answer. Mostly they have made me realize how many great things there are and that is why my answers might change based on so many factors!

Argh! These are all great choices. I guess I'm voting "C" as well. I like being challenged, and sometimes the polls are like, as @LadyLynn put it, having to choose our favorite child. I would never want to give up A, B, or D either, but I think I have the most fun with C.

I am going C also. I do like them all but i feel the poll is unique and is not in any other chit chat thread which makes it special. I always look forward to answering the poll and I am always bummed out when I miss it.
