I am so grateful for Labor Day and the 3 day weekend, it is a boost to my motivation and it definitely shifts my thoughts to Thanksgiving. I am going to enjoy a quiet morning and then tackle some chores.

I definitely don't want two thousand feet of snow (or 2 feet either).
Well today turned into a hot sweaty mess. Better not be one if those miserable Sept's again. I did ribs today and the new rub I used turned out being spicy. Be awhile again because honey powder is hard to get and pretty costly.

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 58
Happy Labor Day! Today folks we have 80 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 58 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be in 8 days. It will be the Final Fifty till November. Talk about a big one folks. I remember when we hit the Final Fifty till The Bers (when we started our annual 50-Day Preview). Now we move along here in the early (and I do mean early) stages of our favorite season here known as “Awesome Autumn” by looking at this being a holiday but this thread doesn’t take holidays. It’s a Monday and that means time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. And it stands at 11 weeks. That’s pretty incredible folks. It is going to be a big one for sure. We know that we’re all heading towards the right direction with football season starting this week. As a turkey fan you know once football season starts we’re kind of on that road back to turkey, stuffing, gravy and all the good stuff we’re looking forward to. Have a great holiday today my turkey friends. Keep cool. That late summer heat can get to you if you let it. Some of us are expecting cooler breezes but Mother Nature often throws us a curveball when we least expect it. And today is one of those days. Have a great Labor Day!

I always say Labor Day (or the day after really) starts the long road to Thanksgiving with all the Fall/Halloween Season stuff along the way.
For sure although if I close my eyes I almost would think it's back to July today with the weather heating up!
I feel almost (but not quite) guilty for the perfect fall day we are having. I have had this type of day for Thanksgiving before. I have turkey burger in the freezer I guess I could cool and I have a turkey Lunchable. Neither of those will really bring Thanksgiving feels to match the weather.

It will be a big one for sure and for all of you we’ll be excited for when it arrives. But every day is and big and Bers Days definitely live up to that belief. We move along in our Awesome Autumn feeling awesome ourselves coming off a long weekend for many of us. And we do so here on Tuesday which means you all know what time it is. It’s Picture Day. And I’m ready for all of you to get your pictures ready to take and to show us. I’m looking forward to it as much as you are. I love Picture Day. Told you that before but it’s really moved up on my chart a lot the last several months. So share all of your pictures of things you love about autumn and Thanksgiving folks of course. They go hand in hand as Thanksgiving is the ultimate crossroads from Autumn to the Holiday Season. No wonder it is regarded so highly by all of us. NFL Football Regular Season is back this week, and I always feel like that truly begins the "final" road into Thanksgiving. It sure will feel good to sit down and watch a regular season game! Gobble Gobble!
