Well we know someone here who better not forget it this year like they did a couple of years ago!

Happy Ghosts & Goblins! Today folks we look at our counts and see 43 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 21 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be in 11 days when we welcome in the Home Stretch till November. But today folks we move along in our Awesome Autumn with our Weekly Wednesday poll below!
If you had to move Thanksgiving to one of the following dates in November which would you move it to?

If you had to move Thanksgiving to one of the following dates in November which would you move it to?
- 1st Thursday of November (leave it on Thursday)
- 2nd Thursday of November (not too early in December)
- 3rd Thursday of November (just a week earlier than it is)
- 1st Thursday of December (push it back 1 week closer to Christmas)
- I’m going with C on this one. I wouldn’t move it too far up and although the idea of it a week closer to Christmas is exciting I don’t think it would feel right in December (even if it fell on December 1). What about you? I'm going with "C". Out of those choices, the third Thursday feels the most "normal" if we had to have it moved. Thanksgiving would not feel right being in December.

Another "C" here. It's the choice that would have the least impact; plus, it makes the Christmas season longer!
Friends, my heart feels unbelievably happy this morning. It's a cool, cloudy day outside, and I've been thinking about Thanksgiving all morning. Even though it is currently still Spooky Season, I can "feel" Thanksgiving in the air. I can't wait for that magic week in November.
I can feel it too. November can't come fast enough for me. But I don't want to throw away the next 3 weeks. I will have to learn to love the anticipation. It will make November even more sweeter.

C for me too! Nov 1st is too close to Halloween and the 2nd Thursday of the month would be too close to Veteran's Day.

Happy Dozen Days Of October! Today folks we have 42 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 20 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be when we reach the Home Stretch till November in 10 days. That will be still a week and a half basically. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with today’s Thanksgiving Thought Thursday!
As Thanksgiving Day starts to get closer I have this feeling in me of wanting to get myself ready for it but then I wonder how. Like with Halloween I know how to get ready. I buy Halloween candy, watch Halloween shows, do my Halloween activities etc. For Christmas I know how to get ready which is Christmas shop, wrap, watch Christmas shows, visit family, put up decorations and more. But for Thanksgiving? Other than buying food what is there to do? Maybe that’s why I love Thanksgiving so much. Simplicity. It’s all about traditions, family, fun, football, food, and complete joy.
Maybe Thanksgiving really is a simple day and maybe that’s a word we should use more to describe it. Most people consider simple to be a bad word but I don’t. Simple feels really good sometimes. Have a great Dozen Days Of October!

I like "simple" Thanksgiving! You don't really have any decorations to put up outside of maybe a few pieces for the table. Most people already have Christmas trees up and what not, and relaxing and Food is the big concepts for Thanksgiving! Nothing wrong with keeping it simple!
