Let's enjoy it CW! I don't want to rush it...and some day we'll probably be wishing we can hit the brakes (like during The Bers lol).Wow..the days are just creeping by now. Seems to be a long haul to any sort if holuday.

100%. May is the biggest month in this thread (IMO). Halfway till November, Halfway till Thanksgiving, 100 days till The Bers, Memorial Day (unofficial road back to the Bers begins)...I think Thanksgiving becomes real again when we pass the halfway point.
Well said!To me I think once any count gets into the 200's, there seems to be an entirely different "speed". Even with January days dragging by slowly now, All of our counts (Christmas ones, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Bers, etc..) that have gotten out of the 300's really are moving with subtle, almost imperceptible speed.
You mention NFL football which is still a staple/hallmark of Bers / Thanksgiving, which is continuing for a few more weeks and even the Super Bowl in early February. After that, you kind of realize how close we are to Spring, and even with reaching Spring there is that close proximity like you said to the "Halfway for everything" coming up. Spring for me is when all of the counts seem to "let loose" and then time really starts zooming!
Gobble Gobble!
That's crazy!Earliest I have ever seen Valentines Day on clearance today.
I think somewhere between 22-25 weeks might be the magic number for me. That is usually right around a daily count of 175 days and nearly to the 150 day marker. I'll just say 25 weeks since it is a nice, round number.Wow already in a 40's count on the "weeks". You know, I was thinking about the weeks and days count yesterday, across all of the threads. The general consensus seems to be that any time a daily count gets down into the 200's, there seems to be a difference in speed. But when does the "weeks" count feel like it moves differently? Well me personally, I think once the weeks get down into the 30's, then it "feels" and moves differently. We're a long way from a 40's count on the weeks to Thanksgiving. But maybe not as far as it seems right now this morning? Before February is out we will be down in the 30's on the weeks to Thanksgiving. Just amazing.
I am indeed thinking Turkey thoughts this morning! Have a great day!
I did too! I have three "Christmas meals" waiting for me in the freezer, I am saving the first one for Rudolph Day #1, and then I hope to have another on February's Rudolph Day, and I am going to keep the third for a night when I am missing Christmas more than usual.I froze some meals out of Christmas leftovers and took one out of the freezer so I am having turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy and sweet potatoes for dinner
Oh, yum!I froze some meals out of Christmas leftovers and took one out of the freezer so I am having turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy and sweet potatoes for dinner, I will add some steamed asparagus and have a feast. Will definitely give me huge Thanksgiving feels.
Mine too!I am feeling good about 45 weeks until Thanksgiving-- the weekly count is one of my favorite things about Mondays!
I second that!Oh, yum!
