DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 285
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 263
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 202

Happy Superbowl Weekend! Today folks we have 285 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 263 days left until November and 202 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the day after tomorrow (Monday) with our amazing 200-Day Marker Till The Bers. Ironically, it falls the day after the NFL season ends which is the final link from the previous Bers we have. Pretty amazing isn’t it? Now we continue along in our Winter Wonderland with it feeling like spring on Friday. It was into the 50s and some places got close to 60 with sunshine. This weekend will be cooler but still at or above average for this time of year. I’ll take it as I’ve said all winter long. Just don’t let it snow around Easter now! Now for all of you turkey fans I hope you’re enjoying your weekend. It is starting up and you better enjoy it as much as you possibly can. Let’s hope all of us can really enjoy this one and do a great job with it. If you are having turkey for the Superbowl well then you are awesome in my book. But like SS said we’re having it here later this month. Still not exact date yet but it’s totally going to happen. I was thinking a Saturday but now I’m thinking it’s going to be a weekday (maybe a Tuesday I’m thinking the 21st tentatively). I’ll keep all of you posted though. Keep it going turkey fans all weekend long and enjoy your Superbowl Weekend. It’s a fun one for sure for many of us. Have a great Superbowl Weekend!

TGIS!! Spent the last 2 days sick along with 3/4 of the house. Boys caught some bug thats going through the school like a forest fire and shared it with us.
So sorry you have been sick, my niece has been experiencing something similar, I hope you all shake it soon.

I hope you all start feeling better soon. Praying for you all my friend.

Last night my kids told me they wanted to watch the Puppy Bowl. My wife 100% supports this, so tomorrow I guess I'm in for a couple of hours of watching dogs "play football." And then there's the Kitty Halftime Show...
Sounds fun!

Guys....today feels like the day before Thanksgiving, or the weekend before. Even more so when Holly mentioned to me this morning that she was going up to the house tomorrow morning to start working on the food - that is so a Thanksgiving morning routine. I've had doses of The Feels all day long. And the weather outside, it really feels like a Bers day. There's been strong Fall / Thanksgiving feels. What a great day!

Have a wonderful day!

Earlier today I realized that tomorrow morning just might give me some serious Thanksgiving morning feels. Even though I will mostly just be heating things up and setting up for dips and chips, it will still be fun to hit the kitchen, have breakfast and then start making preparations. When I was making room in the fridge for the dips I realized I have two tubes/rolls of pizza dough so I might have to add breadsticks or a monkey bread to the menu. There are only five people coming and we are just meant to "sample" everything here and then share and divide to send home but I am very excited!

Definitely feels similar!

Awesome!

Giant pile of nachos for us today for Super Bowl. BUT! Next Sunday is our Thanksgiving part deux with all the sides (including pumpkin pies!). So, two nice food Sundays in a row. I'll probably even throw an old 80s Macy's parade from YouTube onto the TV for laughs.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 284
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 262
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 201

Happy Superbowl Sunday! Today folks we have 284 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 262 days to go until November and 201 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be TOMORROW folks. It will be the huge 200-Day Marker Till The Bers. And then folks we’re in the 1’s. And that’s when things start to change. It’s slow. But still. You just start to think (very) early that wow we’re in the 1’s. It doesn’t seem that. We’re only in February but the thing we have is time on our side. We haven’t even entered the 6-month run of March through August. And that is really a good thing because it means we’re not even halfway back to The Bers yet. But it will be a big milestone here in our Winter Wonderland. It’s been, as I’ve said, mostly a Winterless Winter this year. We’ll see how it goes but the upcoming week looks easily 10 or more degrees above average every single day of the work week. Pretty insane. Now if you are a turkey fan I know you think of today as being a big meal day. And this is up there for me not far behind Thanksgiving Dinner. So even though none of the food I’m eating will relate to Thanksgiving Day, the meal the preparation, the people, the excitement, the football, the festivity and the tasty food we’re eating will all be reminders of Thanksgiving in some way. And when the season ends I’ll smile at the fact that when next season begins we’ll be IN The Bers and heading back on that long autumn road towards Thanksgiving Day. Amazing. Have a great one turkey fans. Have a great Superbowl Sunday!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I think today just might check off all the boxes for a Holiday-like day. You have food, family, Football, and good times. It could very easily pass for Thanksgiving or Christmas!

It even feels like Thanksgiving outside. On the cool side, but not brutal cold. A sweatshirt or light jacket is all you need. If I've got some time later today before heading up to the in-laws for dinner, I will have a little small fire in my "Bers Fire Ring" out back. It's just that kind of day.

Have a great day!

It so did feel like Thanksgiving today...weather, feel in the supermarkets, football on t.v....great food. Oh man I'm glad it's not Thanksgiving yet!

Bad news: My Mini Thanksgiving has been pushed back to March.
Good news: It's actually going to happen and to make it special we're doing it on a Saturday!

I am actually ok with this...personally I was wondering if doing it quarterly would be a little too much. I think doing it in March and then July will be better for us. Every 4 months and then the big one obviously...we know when that is in November!
