Rudolph Day #3 and 1/3 of the way back to Thanksgiving! Happy Day!
Happy Saturday everyone! Its a wet day and mud everywhere here. We scored a few nice days last week but now we are paying for it. Doing turkey meatballs, turkey wings and burgers later today.
Funny to think how mixed this first 1/3 has been...from late autumn, Thanksgiving, the holiday season magic, through the end of year, new year, all winter, into the very early days of spring. Shows you how long a third really is.

DAYS TILL THE BERS: 159
Happy Spring Sunday! Today folks we have 242 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 220 days left until November, and 159 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Saturday. Saturday will see the Arrival Of April. It will prove we completed 4 months on our 11-month journey back to November. We move ahead in our Super Spring (very early stages) here on Part 3 of 3 of our quiet 3-day weekend. My weekend has been fairly busy and today will be similar. But I always trade off a busy weekend for a calmer weekend next weekend which is already planned. Turkey fans I hope you’re all having a good weekend whether it is busy or laid back. I hope it’s been enjoyable for all of you so far and you get to enjoy the remainder of it here today on this Sunday in early spring. The first Sunday of spring indeed. Make it a great one. Enjoy and I hope the weather is cooperating for all of you. Have fun today and think turkey thoughts. Are there any other thoughts that can beat turkey thoughts? Let’s be real here. There aren’t! Keep doing your thing, thinking about Thanksgiving, but having fun and appreciating all of the moments we have here in this spring season which we’re trying to all enjoy as much as we possibly can. We are having a mini Thanksgiving today…I found a small turkey when I was shopping and got all the standard sides.
We were at the in-law's yesterday and making plans for our Easter dinner. Folks, I've said it a million times but there are so many similarities between Easter Dinner and Thanksgiving Dinner. And even talking / being in the planning phase has some real holiday vibes to it. It feels good!

Happy Final Week Of March! Today folks we have 241 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 219 days to go until November, and 158 days remaining until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Saturday folks. Saturday sweet Saturday will be the Arrival Of April. Honestly, such a huge turning point when you leave the 1st quarter of the year. Be here for it. And we move along in our March portion of our Super Spring which is a lot shorter than our April and even May portions are so don’t sweat that we’re moving too fast. Our Weekly Countdown Till Thanksgiving Week (our Monday feature) stands at 34. It’s official folks. We have completed 17 weeks of Non-Thanksgiving and have 34 to go. That is exactly 1/3. Pretty awesome. Isn’t it? And we move ahead here into this week hoping all of you are ready for a good week of March. And eyeing April in our future but not worried about getting there right now. Lots of fun stuff ahead this spring (and milestones). And lots to look forward to. We’ll be back Tuesday for picture day like usual. And we’ll go through our week like we always do one day at a time. Happy Monday to all! I wonder if we will get any "week before Thanksgiving" vibes this weekend since Easter weekend is next weekend? I bet at the grocery stores this weekend there will be some business with people buying Hams / stuffing, etc.,.. Should be a blast of Holiday Feels! I love it.

My mini Thanksgiving dinner came out great! I think I may make some turkey soup this week. Definitely has me wishing for November!
1/3rd of the way back? I'll take it! I miss the magic of Thanksgiving week. Easter is coming and the Sunday dinner might help take the edge off a little, but nothing beats true Thanksgiving.
