Happy Tuesday! Getting out of Monday was an accomplishment in itself, now here we are standing on the doorstep to a major milestone. As much as I look forward to tomorrow, the one thing that I DON'T really look forward to is that Sweat Fest, but you know what, It is a part of the natural order of things, and reaching The Bers, even "Fall Pre-Season", wouldn't feel the same without suffering through it!

So let's all check those AC's and make sure we are all ready. Have a great day!
AC is ready. I was walking outside today 69 and sunny thinking it's kind of cool out. I want it to be warmer. I may regret those words in July and August!

Bless you al! Today was a hectic day and I kept telling myself that tomorrow would be the big day here on MMC and that I didn't have to stop in tonight, that I "should" be doing other things, but boy, oh boy did visiting here sure give me a boost AND I am still looking forward to tomorrow and Thursday!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 183
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 161
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 100

Happy Memorial Mid-Week! Today folks we have 183 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 161 days to go until November, and 100 days left until The Bers. It’s milestone day folks. We have reached the 100-Day Marker till The Bers. And folks it’s also now the Summer Sweatfest! Hopefully we won’t all sweat for 100 days in a row but it is amazing we are here. The Super Spring was great for sure. If that’s not enough TOMORROW is our next milestone which will be Tom Turkey Day #6. But bigger than that? It will be exactly Halfway to Thanksgiving. Do I need to go on folks? At least we’re still (Barely) in the 1st half of this thread. And we move into this monumental day with our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

How do you feel about the Summer Sweatfest?

  • I love summer but hate the sweatfest with a passion.
  • I hate summer and the sweatfest both.
  • I love summer and totally welcome the sweatfest.
  • I love summer and am ready for the sweatfest but hope it’s not “too” hot this summer.
  • For this one I’m going with D. I love summer and am ready for the sweatfest but I don’t need it to be overbearingly hot and humid every single day. Just like winter was mild here I hope summer is mild too. What about you? Now turkey fans tomorrow when you tune in you’ll know we’re halfway to Thanksgiving but also you’ll see only 2 digits in The Bers count. Are you ready for that? Have a great Memorial Mid-Week!

Debbie Downer time here. I choose "B". I am no fan of summer, mainly because of the sweat fest. I wonder if I would like Summer more if I lived somewhere that the humidity didn't become deadly by around the end of June / early July. It would be a game changer.

However, the Summer Sweatfest is a necessary part of getting me back to my favorite time of year, so for that reason it has its place. Tomorrow we have both Tom Turkey Day, and Rudolph Day on the same Day. That's amazing. Lots of feels, and everyone will love waking up and realizing we are halfway to Thanksgiving.

Have a great day!

I am a mix of A and B. I like summer for the fresh produce I grow in the garden, from the local side of road farm stands and from the local you pick fields. I enjoy going to the shore, walking the boardwalk and relaxing at the local lake.

I HATE HATE HATE the I am back and you can't get rid of me yet weeds, the I am gonna zap the energy out of you and make you feel all gross and sticky Humidity and the I am bored and going to pester you bugs!

If we could have 80- 84 degrees and low humidity all summer then I would be all for summer.
