I am spending the day with my brother tomorrow--we are taking flowers to the cemeteries so they look nice for the whole weekend--and I have to drive right by the Cracker Barrell so I will get take out and have turkey and fixings when I get home!

Happy Final Week Of May! Today folks we have 182 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 160 days to go until November, and 99 days left until The Bers. Wow 99. Amazing isn’t it? Today is a milestone day folks! It is Tom Turkey Day #6. Can you believe it? And folks the biggest thing about today is it is HALFWAY to Thanksgiving. 26 weeks ago was Thanksgiving Day. 26 weeks from now is Thanksgiving Day. With that though there in the extremely early stages of our Summer Sweatfest we do our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!
26 weeks ago was the best day of the year. 26 weeks from today is the best day of the year. 50% of the way. The amazing thing is I think that I like the upcoming 50% more than the previous 50%. Yet the previous 50% had the “best stuff” aka the holiday season. But the next 50% has better stuff consistently, at least that’s how I feel about it.
Well folks here’s hoping to you that your summer sweatfest is off to not a bad start. It is not warm/hot here yet. It’s comfortable and even a little cool in the mornings. Turkey fans we are HALFWAY to GOBBLE TILL YOU WOBBLE. Have a great Final Week Of May!

WE hit 80 degrees yesterday and it felt hot. But the cooldown that came in last night reminded me so much of the Bers. Hot days and cool nights.

Happy Memorial TGIF! Today folks we have 181 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 159 days to go until November, and 98 days remaining until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the Arrival of June which will take place on Thursday. Not worried about Thursday right now at all. But it will begin the main 3-month stretch most people consider to be summer months. Right now we started our Summer Sweatfest early. We do it for 100 days here. Sweat if you must but early on here (very early) it’s coolish here. I know that will change and can already see some signs of that next week. Turkey fans I hope it’s been a good week for you and this thread certainly has had a huge week. Today folks I am here to say we have the 2nd half of our thread now beginning today. 26 weeks of it down and 26 weeks of it to go right through Thanksgiving Day. And we move along in our 3-day quiet weekend period. This is day 1 and I know many of you will have a 3-day weekend or maybe even 4-day weekend. Enjoy it. You deserve it and some time to really do stuff but also relax and have fun.
