"C" seems like the obvious choice, but I think I have to go with B as well. We already usually order a pizza on Thanksgiving Eve, so it wouldn't be a stretch if we absolutely had to have fast food on Thanksgiving. The challenge would be finding a pizzeria that's actually open on Thanksgiving Day.

Same!

I would be in severe depression if I couldn't have turkey on Thanksgiving Day. So I would have to go with pizza also to keep my mind off of a traditional Thanksgiving Day meal.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 168
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 146
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 85

Happy Juggling June! Today folks we have 168 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 146 days to go until November, and 85 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the Arrival of Summer in less than 2 weeks. And the day after that (or exactly 2 weeks from today) we’ll reach Tom Turkey Day #7. I can’t wait and look forward to both of them. But we continue here in June feeling good and enjoying our time together. And just enjoying this time of year. The turkey fans are here all enjoying their time. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest which has become suddenly our Smokey Summer. Ugh. This has got to ease up soon I hope. It kind of comes and goes. But here’s hoping things get better soon. We want turkey and stuffing not smoke. Unless you’re going to smoke your turkey? Well let’s look at today’s Thanksgiving Thought Thursday!

Turkey is the one food on the one holiday I must have. Christmas we have traditions and Easter too. Even Memorial Day also with BBQ. But the one food I wouldn’t want to give up on any holiday would be turkey on Thanksgiving (despite our poll yesterday forcing us to).

Keep it real turkey fans and enjoy the day today. I hope you all are well and staying safe. Have a great Juggling June!

Happy Thursday! When you reach Thursday, it's impossible for me to not think of Thanksgiving at least once during the day. And once again, reaching Thursday I feel like is "my Friday". I still have to work tomorrow, but Fridays just have their own energy and feelings. Almost like they aren't part of the same week. It's like having a 3 day weekend even though you still have to work.

I agree on the Thanksgiving Thought Thursday. It just feels extremely weird to even imagine a Thanksgiving where no one ate Turkey.

Have a great day!

I like having traditional meals for each holiday and turkey on Thanksgiving is definitely the ideal. However, I have found that it is getting harder for me to prep, cook, and carve a whole turkey. Some years it is hard to find a 12-14 pound turkey, so I have settled for a turkey breast, which is usually plenty, and I get to come here and live vicariously through all of you and read about your turkey adventures! Gobble, Gobble!

Turkey is a MUST for Thanksgiving, but we usually have it for Christmas as well. And I barbeque marinated turkey breast at least two or three times every summer. That said, I can't see a whole turkey without thinking of Thanksgiving.

My Thursday Thanksgiving thought for today is kind of weird and is related to yesterday's poll. Since most of us said that we would eat pizza on Thanksgiving (if we had no choice), it made me wonder if there was such a thing out there as a "Thanksgiving pizza." Sure enough, the internet did not disappoint:

Happy Just June! Today folks we have 167 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 145 days to go until November, and 84 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be in less than 2 weeks. Actually both will be. We have the Arrival of Summer in 12 days and Tom Turkey Day #7 in 13 days. Folks if you are a fan like I am of turkey, stuffing and gravy please be here to enjoy where we are right now together. And be happy that we are in our Summer Sweatfest. And be grateful that all of us have a 3-day weekend to enjoy. It’s going to be quite awesome if you ask me. I hope it will be for all of you too. And thank you again for being here. Thank you very much. Let’s try to relax this 3-day weekend here. Hopefully things will be good this weekend for all of you. And you can come by to keep me company here in the Thanksgiving Thread. Thanks again turkey fans. Enjoy your entire TGIF. Keep it going turkey fans and thanks for the great week we’ve had here together. It was fun having all 4 topics. And I’m glad you were all here to enjoy them with me. Be safe wherever you go and whatever you do. And enjoy your time with your family and friends this glorious weekend which is approaching later today. Have a great Just June!
