Happy President’s Day Eve! Today folks we have 277 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 255 days to go until November, and 194 days left until The Bers. Our next milestones will be coming up this coming week folks. And they will be Tom Turkey Day #3 on Thursday of course. And then the very next day on Friday we’ll celebrate the 250-Day Marker Till November. I hope everyone’s weekend is going ok here in our Winter Wonderland. I actually heard a rumor that next weekend we could see snow. Now I’ll believe it when I see it. We haven’t seen anything this winter. But I also heard after a brief chill down at the end of the month already by some time during the first week of March we go back to spring weather. We’ll see. I hope it’s true. I love our Winter Wonderland though with an easy winter like we’ve had (actually very easy would be more accurate). But I’m also enjoying this thread with all of you each day. And our 3-day weekend concludes tonight so have a good and restful time today if possible. And if you’ve got plans come here to hang out for a few and rest at least. Keep it going turkey lovers. I hope you all have a great time and if you’re off tomorrow you get a bonus day for your weekend but here in this thread we’ll be back to business like always. You know Monday-Thursday theme time. I heard the rumors about snow too. Around here, it is supposed to be 75+ degrees the day before the snow is supposed to move in. We have had warm ground temperatures for many weeks, so I would have to think that the snow doesn't happen unless there is a quick and rapid cool down, which doesn't seem to be the case here.

Our next milestones will be this week on Thursday (Tom Turkey Day #3) and Friday (250-Day Marker Till November). Both will be fun ones for sure. Now we move ahead in our Winter Wonderland and it’s Monday folks so this thread gets going with its daily features back again for a new week. Our Weekly Countdown Till Thanksgiving Week is now at 39 weeks. Folks we’re in the 30s!!! Not only that but we also are at the ¼ marker to Thanksgiving Week again. That’s crazy. We took out a quarter of the pizza pie. Now don’t get too nervous because let’s be honest that week seems like a lifetime ago now since we have had so much happen since then and the fact we have 3 more times of that amount of time makes us all realize we truly have the long haul to go (which is a good thing lots of stuff to enjoy on the way). Now turkey fans I hope you all are ready to enjoy your day today. Do not worry. If you are like me and a turkey fan just flaunt it. And yes our Mini-Thanksgiving is still scheduled for the first Saturday in March (the 4th). I can’t wait. Well I can wait. I’m ready for today first. 2 days of work for me then I’m off 5 days. I’ll take that kind of week. Have a great President’s Day!

I agree. I think it has basically been "Spring" since about the 1st full week of February here.
Happy Monday everyone! Been under the weather with a cold, now I have the stupid cough from it. We went into Michaels on Saturday and they are still sitting on 80% off Christmas stuff, bet they have 15 boxes of fake trees left.
Seeing the weekly count in the 30s now is quite cool. I also didn't think it was possible that we were already 1/4th of the way back, but then I remembered that we started counting again back in November.
Hey! Did anyone else realize there's still football on TV? We don't get the USFL until April, but right now the XFL is trying its third return to the airwaves. They started their games this past weekend, and there will be games on when many of you will be having your mini-Thanksgiving in two weeks!

What a big week! Hitting the 30s in the Weekly Countdown and getting a quarter of the year behind us and all of that before Tom Turkey #3 and then 250 days til November. I haven't prepared anything for Tom Turkey Day so I am thinking on Wednesday night I'll order my favorite pizza to celebrate the Thanksgiving Eve I missed last year.

Hope the cough gets better ASAP. Bummed that it is still only 80% off. I went to Hobby Lobby the day after New Years and made a killing with 90% off stuff.
I didn't know, and I think they look like the perfect apparel for Thanksgiving Eve and for cooking on Thanksgiving. Now I am on the search!
