Thanksgiving 2023 Thread

DAYS TILL THE BERS: 144
Happy Double Digits April! Today folks we have 227 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 205 days to go until November, and 144 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the 200-Day Marker Till November. It will be on Saturday. That is next weekend, of course. We start a new week of our Super Spring with a Monday and our Weekly Countdown Till Thanksgiving Week which now stands at 32 weeks. Into the lowers 30s now folks. Moving along nicely but safely above 30 still. That’s why I like staying in April, no pressure of halfway markers etc. For all you turkey fans out there just remember that you are the best and if you had turkey on Easter then you really are the bestest ever. But no matter what I hope you enjoyed the holiday with your family and were able to have a good time this holiday weekend. For everyone starting off a new week today enjoy your Monday and just have a good day. Enjoy the nice spring weather. And enjoy the mild time of year with baseball season going strong. I hope it will be a good week for all of you and all of us in this thread. It’s a great time of year. I love spring folks. And as I’ve said it’s got a bit of that autumn feel to it which is nice. And gives us small memories of autumn past and small tastes of autumn future. Have a great Double Digits April!

Happy day after Easter! We had a wonderful Easter and I hope all of you did as well. I loved how much it felt like Fall, and especially how the big Easter dinner reminded me so much at times of Thanksgiving. It was a combination of everything, I mentioned that the day before I could smell from outside collard greens cooking, and the apple pie, and it was instant Thanksgiving feels.
Now that Easter is behind us, I guess the next big holiday that we are anticipating will be Memorial Day weekend. And as everybody knows that coincides with "The Road" to The Bers being officially open again, so that is going to be a big one.

I'm sitting here in my office with a long sleeve shirt on trying to stay warm. I've got a little of the Autumn feels going on today. I may turn on my little heater under my desk.
Woohoo! Back to school Monday!! Yesterdays ribs come out great, mac n cheese was good and the ham bomb was good I was told.
For Easter yesterday we had chicken spaghetti. Not exactly the Easter dish I had in mind (and no deviled eggs, either!) but I didn't host it, so I don't get to complain. The spaghetti was still delicious. We made and brought a key lime pie which was also delicious.
Once the boiler gets turned off at work, I have quite a few weeks of being cold at my desk.
Don't worry CW the long summer vacation and sweatfest are still in front of you lol.
