It is a mix of weather here. Short bouts of heavy rain, but no thunder or lightning. Cloudy mornings, sunny afternoons. Trying to enjoy it all because after 12/25, I don't want to think about snow!

Sounds like a nice trophy. Not sure I want to see a treed mountain lion--that would be just a pounce too close for me. My dad was bow hunting and got treed by a bear once, that wasn't a good time either.Happy Monday everyone! Scored my yearly cider beer today from the orchard along with a few bushels of apples. Yes I survived the elk hunt and scored a 6x6, we put a mnt lion up a tree next to us. I told everyone "Dont pet the kitty!!" Our llamas didnt like it at all and the horses were very agitated. I ended up with a full blown cold thats still lingering.
Not so wild to me. When I was five or six, I was chased by a bunch of domesticated ducks--you have never experienced terror until you have multiple ducks "biting" your calves!I heard a wild story today about a co-workers cat being attacked by a flock of wild turkeys?!?
LOL! That would be terrifying! My best friend growing up had domesticated geese at her house and what I remember as a very LONG sidewalk... the geese would wait until I was halfway between my mom's car and my friend's back door before they would start heading me way!Not so wild to me. Yeah, geese aren't any nicer than ducks and don't get me started on brooding chickens!LOL! That would be terrifying! Figured you'd say that!I like once a year too!
Makes it more special!Another solid A here, once a year is perfection.
I go for one a year, also. To be honest, I also think Thanksgiving is in the perfect spot. I like having the Big Three lined up about a month apart from each other.DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 57
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 35
Happy Autumn Mid-Week! Today folks we have 57 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 35 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be tomorrow folks so be here for Tom Turkey Day #10. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our Weekly Wednesday poll below as always!
If you had a choice how many Thanksgivings would we have a year?
1 (it makes it the most special) 2 (I could be ok with every 6 months) 3 (Every 4 months would be awesome) 4 (every quarter we should have a Thanksgiving) Temptation plays a role in this poll. As much as I absolutely love Thanksgiving though C & D would dilute it. B? I could probably go for. I don’t think it would hurt it (probably wouldn’t fee as special in May as it does in November though with the holiday season in front of us). I’m going to go with A. Just like with Christmas it comes once a year and that makes it the most special. How about you? Keep it real turkey fans and enjoy your middle of the week. Have a great Autumn Mid-Week!
