I love Rich's idea!!

A turkey bowl football game. Post graduation we would get together with past teamates/friends and play a football game on Thanksgiving morning. I know some larger families that also do a tag football family game that morning. It has been a long time since I participated in one but they were good times.DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 35
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 13
Happy Fresh Fall! Today folks we have 35 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 13 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be on Sunday folks when we arrive at the Home Stretch till November. We move along in our Awesome Autumn and now today do our weekly Thanksgiving Thought Thursday!
As I go along happily on all these fall/Halloween activities I couldn’t help but wonder what would be a good Thanksgiving activity if we invented one? 4th of July has a hot dog eating contest. Halloween has all these haunted houses. Christmas has musicals. Easter has egg hunts. Thanksgiving? Not counting Macy’s Parade. Turkey Trot? I think I’ve heard of that but has anyone ever participated or do you have a better idea for a Thanksgiving activity? Just curious.
I think Thanksgiving is such an amazing day the way it is. It doesn’t need much else does it? It’s almost like too perfect where you wouldn’t even want to mess with it if you could try to make it better. It’s hard to make perfection better isn’t it? Look at Rich…just kidding. Now turkey fans enjoy your Thursday. Have a great Fresh Fall!
Love it! But I would get hurt just stretching out. LOLA turkey bowl football game. Post graduation we would get together with past teamates/friends and play a football game on Thanksgiving morning. Nobody will convince me that Jan-Apr or May-Aug goes the same speed as Sep-Dec.34 days???
Holy cow, what happened?!!!
Time is a thief.
We all are...I am really starting to think a lot about getting ready for Thanksgiving.
You know that's right.Nobody will convince me that Jan-Apr or May-Aug goes the same speed as Sep-Dec.
I think Thursday will be big. You'll see why tomorrow in the post here.I've got turkey on the brain. Only 11 more days until I set up my Thanksgiving decorations outside.

Rained most of the morning here...every Saturday since The Bers started it seems. It POURED rain yesterday afternoon and late into the evening. I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to get my driveway sealed today before winter. But fortunately, when I woke up this morning, my driveway was just a little damp, and amazingly enough, the sealer/resurfacer that I bought actually recommends putting down the sealer when the surface is damp! So by 7:30AM I was laying sealer and I was totally finished by 10:20 AM. I was slow and the gel being colder made working with it more difficult. I have only sealed this driveway twice since having owned this house, we had it installed in 2018 and I sealed it for the first time in 2020. I have learned some tricks from watching Youtube that makes the job go a little easier, but holy cow am I sore.
It actually feels like Thanksgiving out there with a cool breeze and seeing the leaves fall all around us.
Have a great day!
