I plan to after eating 1 bite of turkey and 3 olives last year!

DAYS TILL THE BERS: 11
Happy Summer Mid-Week! Today folks we move along and see that our count has shrunk. 99 days till Thanksgiving. Wow. That hits you, doesn’t it? 72 days remaining until November, and 11 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Thursday (tomorrow) when we reach Tom Turkey Day #9. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with today’s Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

How’s your Summer Sweatfest been this year?
- Great – I love it completely.
- Good – It was just a little too hot this summer for my liking.
- It was just ok.
- I hated every moment of it. It makes me miss winter.
- I’m going with B. It’s been good but just a little too hot this summer for my liking. July was sweaty and hot almost every single day (plus the humidity). August though hasn’t been as bad. Let’s see how it goes from here on forward though. Turkey friends enjoy your day. Have a great Summer Mid-Week!
A toss up between "B", and "D"! There were times this summer where it was so brutally hot, that I think most people would have preferred winter. I know I would have.
That threat of "sweatfest" is still out there, but it is so reduced in intensity now that we are pulling so far away from the sun, and the earlier sunsets. It pops back up to 85/86 this weekend, but the overnight lows are still in the 50's and 60's, so it doesn't have much time to be hot during the day like earlier in the summer when it could stay 100 all day and even at night not get below 80.
I'm for sure looking forward to cooler days sticking around "for good". Have a great day!

It is B for me too. I have actually handled the heat better than any recent years in memory. It has been a hot summer.
This autumn feeling weather the last couple days has been great. Unfortunately I see a couple days of temperatures in the 90s return next week. I at least know we should only have a few more weeks of the worst weather. Hopefully it is sooner than that though. Most likely it will be a mix.

It is B for me, overall it was good but boy was June hot and humid- August is compensating by being a bit cooler than normal so a nice, solid B!!!

Happy Always August! Today folks we move along and have 98 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 71 days to go until November, and 10 days to go until The Bers. Today is Milestone Day folks as we have reached Tom Turkey Day #9. Did I forget to mention it’s also the Home Stretch till The Bers? It is. And our next milestone folks honestly is the biggest milestone. It is our NEW YEAR and that would be September 1 when The Bers begin. Unreal isn’t it? We move along in the later stages of our Summer Sweatfest with our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!
10 days remain until The Bers. I think at this point we all realize it is close. And the weather has felt like it too. Not quite like Thanksgiving (luckily) but like September. And that’s kind of cool. Weather makes me think of different holidays and real chilly (but not brutally cold) weather makes me think of Thanksgiving.
The weather affects what time of year my mind is geared towards. I always like to wonder what specific holidays will feel like. What will the temperatures be this year? You never know year to year for sure. Have a great Always August!
