DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 91
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 64
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 3

Happy Anticipating August! Today folks we move along and have 91 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 64 days to go until November, and 3 days left until The Bers. We move along in the last few days of our Summer Sweatfest and my personal last NON-BERS work day of the year. I know it’s little things like that which make you realize how exciting things are right now. Our next milestone is Sunday which I don’t even need to say what that is at this point. It’s the biggest turning point of the entire year. Period. This leads to me to today’s Thanksgiving Thought Thursday!

We are 75% of the way to Thanksgiving. Pretty amazing, isn’t it? I know a lot of people say November 1 is the biggest turning point. Some argue it’s another day here or there. But I can’t but help and say that the biggest turning point of the year is September 1.

Some people might argue that the biggest turning point is Thanksgiving Day. It’s certainly a huge one but to get the most enjoyment out of it there really is nothing better than being a fan of the entire Bers. I’m fortunate to say that I fit into that category. Turkey friends have a good one today. Be safe. Have a great Anticipating August!

Edge, I'm with you mentally on that one. I think September 1st is the biggest mental turning point of the entire year, with possibly Memorial Day weekend being the other.

Have a great day!

I feel like November 1st is the biggest turning point of the year then September 1st.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 92
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 65
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 4

Happy Late Late August! Today folks we move along and see that we have 92 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 65 days to go until November, and 4 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with the next Milestone being the Arrival of The Bers. Do you think that’s exciting? And it will happen on Sunday. And then we’ll be HOME. And we will be having our Awesome Autumn (extended edition this year). We move along in our Wednesday with our Weekly Wednesday Poll below on The Bers!

What month are you most excited for right now?

  • September (because it is a fresh start of The Bers and the one that is coming soon).
  • October (Because October is where my heart always is and is the heart of autumn).
  • November (because obviously Thanksgiving our favorite day is there).
  • December (because it’s Christmas Season and makes my heart happy year-round).
  • For me it is A. Not even close. You know I preach a bit about taking one day at a time but taking one BERS day at a time is even more important. And I always say September is the Sweet Spot. I know the Big 3 months with the 3 big holidays is ultra special but that is what makes September the sweet spot. I love September so much. And living in it with the big 3 still in front of us truly makes September a blessing. Turkey friends send your vote in and enjoy the final Non-Bers Mid-Week of the entire year. How’s that sound? Have a great Late Late August!

B .. I have always Loved Oct. September can still be a bit too warm/hot, still has that summer feel lingering about. Oct starts to get a bit chilly, the leaves are changing more, and it has that Fall feel/Vibe going on Strong. Apples and Pumpkins everything everywhere. Weekend fire pits scattered across many back yards. Stores have Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas goodies displayed throughout. Everywhere you turn there's a mention of Halloween mazes, apple or pumpkin picking, Haunted houses/mazes, upcoming Craft and vendor events, upcoming Holiday Events and of course Trick or Treating events! So much goodness in October

Technically more of September is summer than fall...just like more of June is spring than summer...but we don't think about it quite that way!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 90
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 63
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 2

Happy Next To Last Day Of August! Today folks we move along and see that we have 90 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 63 days to go until November, and 2 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone is Sunday and I’m not even telling you what it is because you know it is quite honestly friends the most significant date on the calendar. Think about that. We move along in the last couple of days of our Summer Sweatfest with our Fun Fact Friday below.

The most popular drinks to toast with on Thanksgiving are wine, beer and whiskey (in order of popularity).

Well I’m not surprised with today’s fun fact but I don’t drink so I do not fit into helping that fact be true. Normally on Thanksgiving I have pepsi. That’s the only soda I really care much for. And of course, my iced coffee is a must. But I hope everyone enjoyed this week of topics. Guess what? This is the FINAL Weekday of the Non Bers of the entire year. Think about that. And the final topic here in this thread in a Non-Bers day EVER (cause we’ll be into the new thread by the time we’re not in The Bers again). Have a great Next To Last Day Of August!
