Our month is coming!
DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 36
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 9
Happy October Hump Day! Today folks we move along and see that we have 36 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 9 days to go until November. Our next milestone will arrive tomorrow on Thursday when we reach Tom Turkey Day #11. In case you were keeping track that is our final Tom Turkey Day before Thanksgiving Day. Where are you with your (early) preparations for Thanksgiving?

Where are you with your (early) preparations for Thanksgiving?
- I have not prepared anything.
- I have the guests outlined but not the food/menu.
- I have everything ready to go already.
- I’m not sure what I am doing at all for Thanksgiving this year yet.
- I’m going to say B. We know my brother is coming and the family who will be there, but we haven’t bought any food yet. We will do that when November arrives. We have not picked out a turkey or anything yet. Gobble Gobble. Have a great October Hump Day!
So far the answer is "A". But make no mistake, I know that Holly and the rest of the family have already been having discussions about the food menu. Here over the next week or so they will probably make a spice run. It is coming soon! As always a time of good eating and fellowship!
My answer this time is E, other. As of this week, our plans have changed. We had bought some of the food needed, but now we are going to my mother's house for Thanksgiving. Our daughter lives in Detroit, and through some odd circumstances, we haven't been able to see her for five years. She called us the other day, and she was able to get some vacation approved and will be able to meet us at my mom's for Thanksgiving. So that's where we'll be in a month.
