I will say B but typically the same people bring the same thing each year so I have a pretty good idea what I need to prepare.
We smoked one for the the first time last year..it came out great. We did one in the oven and one in the smoker! It’s B for me, although I have a general idea of what the menu will be. We were at my brother’s house last year for Thanksgiving too, so I imagine it will be nearly the same spread with the exception that my brother is smoking a turkey this year. Yum!
Mine too! It almost feels like homesickness.
Rich had to pick an option that wasn't even given! My answer this time is E, other. As of this week, our plans have changed. We had bought some of the food needed, but now we are going to my mother's house for Thanksgiving. Our daughter lives in Detroit, and through some odd circumstances, we haven't been able to see her for five years. She called us the other day, and she was able to get some vacation approved and will be able to meet us at my mom's for Thanksgiving. So that's where we'll be in a month.
We are safely in October!I am a D. I am still not sure who will be available on actual Thanksgiving but I am enjoying making a number of menus for a variety of options. Shall I have an Appsgiving on Wednesday night? Drinks and desserts Thursday evening? A traditional meal? Who knows but I am enjoying thinking about it all, the pressure to know won't break me until November arrives!
Exactly.Mine too! It almost feels like homesickness.
Good point!Happy Tom Turkey Day!
The connection between Thanksgiving and Christmas is stronger for me as well. But all three holidays are linked together to make a great way to end the year.
Yes LL!Last one until the real big day!
