DAYS TILL THE BERS: 99

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Today folks we move along and see we have 187 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 160 days left until November and 99 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone folks will be on Saturday (next Saturday) when we reach the Arrival of June. But friends it’s amazing typing that 99 today. It feels different. Double digits being one of our counts makes it feel more real. But again we have a long Summer Sweatfest here which we just began yesterday to go through. And we move along in the first step or two of the Summer Sweatfest during a Quiet Weekend Period. I love the weekends and this is a special one. Of course, thank all of those who served for us and sacrificed and the family members of those people too. That’s the true meaning of Memorial Day. But friends who are fans of turkey, stuffing, and gravy believe it or not we’re heading right into the Halfway Marker till Thanksgiving. I know we don’t count it as an official milestone here but yeah we’re basically right there now. Can you believe that? It’s an amazing feeling here. Turkey friends may all of you have a great time today here on this Saturday. And I wish you all a great and fun weekend ahead. The best to all of you. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!​
 
Halfway to Thanksgiving and being back on "the road"...I feel like we've unlocked "turbo mode" and the milestones are going to start coming fast and furious now. If there's any time to start pumping the brakes, now would be it. I don't want to rush the rest of the year.
 
It is truly amazing, how it feels right now with that “99” on the count. Even last night, there was some magic in the air and I could feel it. To be honest I’m not sure if I’ve ever felt that before at 100 days even though I have and will always be excited for the 100 day milestone.

Lots of joy this morning! It’s a good time to be a Fall / Bers fan!
 
I didn't get a chance to celebrate Tom Turkey Day #6 properly but I am going to loop back and try a possible appetizer for a possible Appsgiving (Thanksgiving Eve Happy Hour/snacks)- Pretzel Bites in the air fryer with cheese sauce tonight. I think I am going to try a new appetizer for Tom Turkey Days 7-11! Suggestions welcomed!

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 159
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 98

Happy Memorial Day Eve! Today folks we look at our counts and see that we have 186 days until Thanksgiving, 159 days left until November, and 98 days to go until The Bers. We move along friends in the extremely early stages of our Summer Sweatfest feeling good on a Quiet Weekend Period Part #2 on this Sunday. Our next milestone will be when June Arrives which will be on Saturday. A whole week of 5-day topics stands between us today and at that milestone so get ready for all the fun that we bring to this thread on a daily basis. Turkey friends I hope your weekend is going well. And if you have the long holiday weekend that makes it even better. Don’t it? Well my friends we have had some pretty good weather so far this weekend. Warm. Sunny mostly. We do have some chances of showers too especially on Monday. But hopefully we’ll still get our BBQ in that day. Right now today I’m heading off to the zoo. Something we haven’t done in a while here so we’re trying to see how it goes. And then tonight I’ll relax knowing I’ve got Monday off which is always a bonus on a Sunday night. Turkey friends the best to all of you and to all of your families. DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 158
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 97

Happy Memorial Day! Today folks we have 185 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 158 days left until November, and 97 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be Saturday when we reach the Arrival of June. That 3-month stretch of real hardcore heat begins. We have already begun our Summer Sweatfest here in this thread though. 100 days of it. 3 behind us and 97 in front of us to go. My a/c is awesome. This crazy strong fan I have also helps. And the thoughts of the winter cold/snow/ice/wind behind us and even the early spring chill makes me appreciate this season of summer. Turkey friends it’s Monday so let’s do our Monday thing despite the holiday. We don’t take holidays here. Our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week stands at 26 weeks. My friends we are halfway to Thanksgiving Week. Seriously. Now it does feel like it was a very (very) long time ago but still. Halfway shakes you up. But also I’d say we have a lot to look forward to in the 2nd half including of course the majority of The Bers and the entire Autumn Season. But right now I’m in full summer mode. Shorts, flip flops, t-shirts, a/c, fans, and enjoying where we are. Doing a BBQ today. Have a great day friends. Have a great Memorial Day!​
 
I was just thinking this morning that this must be the halfway to Thanksgiving week. Truly incredible. Thanksgiving does feel like it was a long time ago, but fortunately THIS Thanksgiving will feel closer, as it should! 97 more days of SweatFest sounds daunting but these milestones, as pointed out, are seriously coming fast and furious now.

The Sweatfest has indeed begun. That's okay, though. We've got so much cool stuff coming up that should keep our minds off of the intense heat, like the fact that we're halfway to Thanksgiving this week or that the 50 Day Preview of the Bers is only 47 days away now.
