I think it is C, at least I know that June was hotter than normal and July has probably been average but I may just be less tolerant of it either due to June or my own aging!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 133
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 106
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 45

Happy Mid-Summer! Today folks we move along and see that we have 133 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 106 days left until November, and 45 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone in less than one week when we reach the 100-Day Marker till November. It’s Thursday folks so it’s time for our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!

Summer’s Hottest Weather makes me dream of Autumn’s Coolest Weather. And that makes me think of Thanksgiving. The peak or the ultimate of Autumn is Thanksgiving. Halloween is the heart of autumn and Thanksgiving is the ultimate peak of Autumn before the holidays and the winter season arrive!

I’m still enjoying my summer and now it has cooled off a bit which will be nice. I do smile at the idea of autumn though but I’m in no rush for us to get there. The heat and humidity this summer has been really high so far. It makes me wonder what the 2nd half of our summer will look like. Turkey friends I wish you all a great day today. I hope your week is going well so far as well too. Have a great Mid-Summer!

I still consider Thanksgiving to be Autumn, but it feels like the very end of Autumn, almost the same way that Labor Day feels like the last gasp for Summer. The weather is much too fickle to consider Thanksgiving a Winter holiday. Some years here we've had Thanksgiving in shorts while other years it's been sweater weather. Personally, I prefer sweater Thanksgivings.

It's weird but for some reason I feel like we get more consistent/normal weather for Thanksgiving than for Christmas for some reason!

Our Thanksgiving weather is pretty fickle here too. We have had shirt-sleeve weather and we have had a foot of snow. Anything can happen. But that is part of the fun!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 132
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 105
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 44

Happy July TGIF! Today folks we move along and see that we have 132 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 105 days to go until November, and 44 days left until The Bers. Our next milestones will be back to back Wednesday (100-Day Marker till November) and Thursday (Tom Turkey Day #8). We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our Fun Fact Friday below.

Thanksgiving Eve is the biggest drinking & pizza night of the year.

Well I'm not surprised about the first part but pizza? I know some have said they have pizza on Thanksgiving Eve. We always do rolls here. Like chicken roll, etc. from this place we started ordering many years ago on Thanksgiving Eve. But pizza is not a bad option if you ask me. Turkey friends it's good to be back on the site after a tough internet day for this site and many sites. Have a great July TGIF!

I was thinking the opposite. Based on our conversations in this thread about Thanksgiving Eve, I was not surprised that it was the biggest pizza night. But drinking? Now that was surprising. I figured Halloween or even Christmas Eve would have been way more heavy on the drinking than Thanksgiving Eve.

Only reason I thought drinking on Thanksgiving Eve is because of college kids. I always heard that's the night to go to the bars...personally not my thing even in college but to each their own!

I have to throw in that in the greater Chicago area it is known/advertised as Blackout Wednesday and/or Drinksgiving, lots of sponsored bar hopping and pub crawls.

This year I am hoping to host an Appsgiving gathering on Thanksgiving Eve and just havea few folks over and hopefully get a few of my out of town relatives over when they roll in to town. I have been trying different appetizers in the oven and air fryer and have thought about ordering pizza but I want it to be simple and generally relaxing and not a lot of drinking!

That's where I was, not surprised about pizza, but yes, surprised about the drinking.

As I have said before, I love the idea of Appsgiving on Thanksgiving Eve.

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 104
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 43

Happy Jovial July! Today folks we have 131 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 104 days left until November, and 43 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone approaching next week on Wednesday with the 100-Day Marker till November. And guess what? The very next day will be Tom Turkey Day #8. Pretty awesome huh? Our Quiet Weekend Period begins now my friends. And it’s a good thing. It’s a great thing actually. We all need a break after a long week of lots of great topics and awesome moments here in this thread. This is our chance to take a deep breath and enjoy our weekend. And just have fun, post and do the things we love to do on the weekends. Turkey friends I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the start to your weekend. I am sure you are as much as I am sure that I am gobbling through my weekend like a turkey. We have been picking up the Autumn/Halloween Season talk here which has become one of the biggest things of the year in my family so it’s exciting and a sign of things to come. But let’s keep enjoying our summer especially while the heat and humidity have calmed down for now at least. Gobble Gobble. Have a great Jovial July!

Wow! Drinking?

I figured that was NYE. Personally, I don't touch it on Thanksgiving Eve or Thanksgiving. I might have a couple of Friday or Saturday night...but not Thanksgiving Eve or Thanksgiving....

Black Friday definitely makes me want to drink, though.
