I think it is C, at least I know that June was hotter than normal and July has probably been average but I may just be less tolerant of it either due to June or my own aging!
It's weird but for some reason I feel like we get more consistent/normal weather for Thanksgiving than for Christmas for some reason!I still consider Thanksgiving to be Autumn, but it feels like the very end of Autumn, almost the same way that Labor Day feels like the last gasp for Summer. The weather is much too fickle to consider Thanksgiving a Winter holiday. Some years here we've had Thanksgiving in shorts while other years it's been sweater weather. Personally, I prefer sweater Thanksgivings.
Our Thanksgiving weather is pretty fickle here too. We have had shirt-sleeve weather and we have had a foot of snow. Anything can happen. But that is part of the fun!I still consider Thanksgiving to be Autumn, but it feels like the very end of Autumn, almost the same way that Labor Day feels like the last gasp for Summer. Only reason I thought drinking on Thanksgiving Eve is because of college kids. I always heard that's the night to go to the bars...personally not my thing even in college but to each their own!I was thinking the opposite. Based on our conversations in this thread about Thanksgiving Eve, I was not surprised that it was the biggest pizza night. But drinking? Now that was surprising. I figured Halloween or even Christmas Eve would have been way more heavy on the drinking than Thanksgiving Eve.
That's where I was, not surprised about pizza, but yes, surprised about the drinking.I was thinking the opposite. As I have said before, I love the idea of Appsgiving on Thanksgiving Eve.I have to throw in that in the greater Chicago area it is known/advertised as Blackout Wednesday and/or Drinksgiving, lots of sponsored bar hopping and pub crawls.
This year I am hoping to host an Appsgiving gathering on Thanksgiving Eve and just havea few folks over and hopefully get a few of my out of town relatives over when they roll in to town. I have been trying different appetizers in the oven and air fryer and have thought about ordering pizza but I want it to be simple and generally relaxing and not a lot of drinking!
Same here!I always knew Thanksgiving Eve as the biggest drinking night of year. The pizza part I did not know, but I am not surprised. Personally the pizza night is more Halloween for me.
Wow! Drinking?DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 132
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 105
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 44
Happy July TGIF! Today folks we move along and see that we have 132 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 105 days to go until November, and 44 days left until The Bers. Our next milestones will be back to back Wednesday (100-Day Marker till November) and Thursday (Tom Turkey Day #8). We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our Fun Fact Friday below.
Thanksgiving Eve is the biggest drinking & pizza night of the year.Well I'm not surprised about the first part but pizza? I know some have said they have pizza on Thanksgiving Eve. We always do rolls here. Like chicken roll, etc. from this place we started ordering many years ago on Thanksgiving Eve. But pizza is not a bad option if you ask me. Turkey friends it's good to be back on the site after a tough internet day for this site and many sites. Have a great July TGIF!

We always get the pepperoni pumpkin face pizza at some point prior to Halloween.I always knew Thanksgiving Eve as the biggest drinking night of year. The pizza part I did not know, but I am not surprised. Personally the pizza night is more Halloween for me.
Exciting times ahead!Happy weekend, Turkey friends! We're just 11 more days out from the return of football on TV, and football always reminds me of Thanksgiving. It will definitely feel more like Fall soon.
