Happy Summer Sunday! Today folks we have 109 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 82 days to go until November, and 21 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be 9 days from now when we reach the 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest feeling good here on this Quiet Weekend Period Part 2. Yes, we enjoy our quiet weekends in this thread and I definitely know we all enjoy the low-key time. Lots of great topics coming up this week as we always have in this thread. But for now it’s time for some fun on this Sunday with your family and/or friends. Maybe I should add in pets in there too. And I hope you get some relaxation time in as well. Turkey friends I hope you will enjoy your day today. I had some turkey last night. Jealous? Sorry I had to brag at least a tiny bit there. It’s the last time I’ll have turkey until you know what day. I won’t say it. But it falls in November on the 4th Thursday of the month. We are glad we have a lot of time here folks and I hope you are all having a good time. Just have some fun and enjoy the summer. It still feels stress-free to me knowing we still have 3 full weeks to enjoy Bers-less. But I’m definitely excited about what’s to come but really mainly focusing on today. Going to the city for a museum and dinner. Have a great time today. Have a great Summer Sunday!​

I was jealous yesterday when I read that you were having turkey and if you have leftovers I am still jealous today! I love our lowkey weekends and today is lowkey here and at home. I hope to be outside and enjoy the nice weather- having had a very hot and humid June and July this is definitely a treat!

We figured if we were gonna do a little turkey this was the time. Still a long way ahead to go to Thanksgiving but we didn't want to push it into late August or early September!

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 81
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 20

Happy Dozen Days Of August! Today folks we move along and we see that we have 108 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 81 days to go until November, and 20 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest feeling good with our next milestone still over a week away which will be the 100 Day Marker till Thanksgiving. That’ll be 1 week + 1 day from now. It’s Monday friends so it’s time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week to get us all started up and excited. We stand at 15 weeks now till Thanksgiving Week. Isn’t that amazing friends? Halfway from 20 to 10 now with it being 15. I’m happy to say friends we are starting this new week on a positive note. Just happy to be here and I say this sometimes but I’m lucky that I wake up on Mondays actually excited to go to work. But you know sometimes you just get lucky in certain aspects of your life so remember the good things when something bad happens. The good normally outweighs the bad by a ton if you really look at it fairly. And of course, I had a little turkey here Saturday so we have a little leftover for the next day or two but then we’re shutting off turkey for the next 15 weeks. Turkey friends I hope you have a great day today. Have a great Dozen Days Of August!​

And here I am talking about mac and cheese almost 24/7 in this thread...and you guys never said a word! I would have toned it way down if I knew you all had a mac and cheese aversion! Not that I understand living a mac and cheese-free lifestyle...that would be like asking me to forego coffee...but still!

Happy August TGIF! Today folks we move along and see that we have 118 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 91 days to go until November, and 30 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be huge which will be the 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. That’s not for 2 and a half weeks though. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our Fun Fact Friday below!

Abraham Lincoln proclaimed Thanksgiving a national holiday on October 3, 1863. Sarah Josepha Hale, the woman who wrote “Mary Had A Little Lamb,” convinced Lincoln to make Thanksgiving a national holiday after writing letters for 17 years.

Well that’s interesting. And that song brings back memories. Growing up hearing it all the time as a kid. Didn’t know who actually wrote it. And somehow she convinced Lincoln? I sometimes wonder how people even know these things. But that’s quite interesting for sure. And now it’s like the biggest holiday there is. Right friends? No need to tone it down on my account. We like what we like. I don't tone down my love of candy corn. LOL.

Happy August Teens! Today folks we move along and see that we have 107 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 80 days to go until November, and 19 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest but not quite sweating as much this week which is nice. And we see that our next milestone will arrive 1 week from today when we will reach the 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for Picture Day friends so please share your pictures of Autumn/Thanksgiving. But guess what friends? I received confirmation on Monday that my brother from San Diego will be coming for Thanksgiving this year instead of Christmas. Now it’s a little bummer he won’t come for Christmas but having him for Thanksgiving for the first time in many years on my favorite day of the year will only make it more exciting and better. Turkey friends gobble your way through your Tuesday and keep that positive attitude. I’m loving this time of year. Really. We see The Bers in front of us. But we haven’t touched them yet. That’s the way to keep it for as long as we can. Turkey friends I wish you all a great day today. And a great fun time in this thread, I hope. Have a great August Teens!​
