8 weeks! WOW! This is the first week I am really feeling that extra/bonus? week before Thanksgiving and right now I am looking forward to it. We'll see if that changes and one of those weeks drags and makes the wait feel long (which might be a nice change)!

We got a few Thanksgiving items at the grocery tonight. I've started a spreadsheet to see how much Thanksgiving dinner costs us this year. $$$

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 58
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 31

Happy October Arrives! Today folks we move along and see that we have 58 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 31 days to go until November. It’s Milestone Day folks as we have reached the Arrival of October. Our next milestone will be in a little over a week when we reach the 50-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. We move along in our Awesome Autumn here on this Tuesday with Picture Day. It’s time to share those pictures of Autumn and Thanksgiving my friends. This is the time of year to do it now that we’re in October. You know we’re fully in autumn now and those leaves are even starting to turn here. Signs of the season that we are in. And signs of things to come. I hope everyone is doing well and feeling good as we start the month of October. It’s a great time here folks. This is a very special month to me. I have always loved October more than any other month. Of course, I might rethink that next month but for now I stick by it. Just a very special feeling if you are a fan of Halloween like I am. But if you are a fan of turkeys well this month is a great month to build to turkey month as well which is in front of us now on the calendar. Have a great first day of a special month my friends. Have a great October Arrives!

I already ordered my turducken but it won't deliver until close to Thanksgiving. My turkey breast is in the freezer and my ham will deliver close to Thanksgiving. @Rich I also made a spreadsheet with a tab for shopping lists. I don't bake year round so my list is pretty big. I usually make a variety of desserts including my chocolate raspberry cheesecake, but I might order one from the Cheesecake Factory this year. It cuts down on a ton of work and is decent tasting. I'm sort of holding off to see if my niece and her husband will be in Florida for Thanksgiving. Her place in Madeira Beach has some major damage from the storm including losing their boat dock and water intrusion. She is flying down this week to meet with the adjuster and assess the damage herself. The original plan was to drive over Thanksgiving Eve and stay at her Daytona condo (her mother lives in it year round now), then come over here for Thanksgiving dinner. If they don't have a place on the West Coast to stay by Thanksgiving, I doubt they will be here for the holiday. All her kids and grandkids live in NY and her main home is there.
