I am not a wine guy either. If I drink alcohol when I do it is beer. I drink unsweetened green tea in the morning, and mainly water with lemon with meals. In the rare occasion I drink soda it is only soda with real sugar which I actually had on Christmas. I don't drink coffee either.

I don't like wine. I drink milk with my Thanksgiving meal. Sometimes chocolate milk.

I rarely drink wine, my favorite holiday drink is Ginger Ale, and if it can be procured, Cranberry Ginger Ale, otherwise it is Pepsi for me too.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 334
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 308
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 247

Happy Final Weekend Of The Year! Today folks we move along and see that we have 334 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 308 days to go until November, and 247 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Happy Holidays with our next milestone arriving on Wednesday when a new month (January) and a new year (2025) arrive. Well folks we move along in our Quiet Weekend Period Part 1 of 2. And I’m looking forward to everything this weekend. Some normal stuff and some not so normal stuff still. But it’s all good and should be fun, I hope. Turkey friends I hope your weekend is going well to begin with and that it continues all weekend long. The best to you and yours here as we begin a brand new weekend but the final weekend of the year. Soon enough we’ll be able to say THIS Thanksgiving instead of NEXT Thanksgiving. It’s a small step but an important one that we need to take. It’s just a mental plus to know that you are in the same year as a big day you are looking forward to. Turkey friends I hope the best for you to start this weekend. And I hope everything going forward goes well into the brand new year. Any New Year’s Resolutions? Maybe that should be our poll for Wednesday. Turkey friends the best to you. Have a great Final Weekend Of The Year!

I mentioned this same mentality over in the Halloween thread. Just being able to refer to the upcoming holidays as "This Year", etc., is a huge mental boost.

Happy Saturday!

Happy Saturday everyone! Its been a horrid morning with waking up late and I had a freight delivery idling away up at the shop. Coffee to go and unload time. Put my pallets inside, shut the doors and called it a day. We took Christmas down yesterday and the kids talked me into some fall stuff already.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 333
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 307
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 246

Happy New Year’s Eve Eve Eve! Today folks we move along and see that we have 333 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 307 days to go until November and 246 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone ironically is when The Bers officially ends which is on New Year’s Day which is Wednesday. We will begin a brand new month and a brand new year (and a brand new time of year: Winter Wonderland). For now we move along in our Happy Holidays portion of our year and our 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period with a bit of a rainy weekend here. Rain on and off all weekend and right through the end of the year it looks like. But milder temps. We got lucky because we got a few little shots of snow to give us a White Christmas before the warm-up and rain has taken over after Christmas. Turkey friends I hope you are all doing well. I’m going to 2 Uncle’s houses today so it will be busy from mid-afternoon into evening. Turkey friends how are you feeling about the new year approaching? I hope you’re doing well on this Sunday. I can’t help but reflect on this Bers season. It’s been such an amazing run. So many amazing things about it. My mind goes back to simpler times (but amazing fun special ones) of apple picking and my Halloween Trail in the fall. And now these days in December with Christmas time have been so special beyond words. And of course we can’t forget THANKSGIVING which was like the best day ever. Have a great New Year’s Eve Eve Eve!

I almost thought you meant Thanksgiving Eve Eve Eve!
I had a dream last night we were already in July next year and planning the fall stuff in my family which we did this year. I woke up thinking woah I don't want time to go THAT fast even though I'd love to be able to be there eventually!
Sorry to get your hopes up!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 332
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 306
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 245

Happy New Year’s Eve Eve! Today folks we move along and see that we have 332 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 306 days left until November and 245 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Happy Holidays which will be here for another 2 days and then we move into our Winter Wonderland. But our next milestone will be when our Winter Wonderland arrives on Wednesday (the day after tomorrow) and we reach a brand new month of January and a brand new year of 2025. Turkey friends it is Monday so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. And it stands now at 47 weeks my friends. Hard to believe it’s been 5 weeks in a way since Thanksgiving Week was here but in a way it does feel like forever ago because of so much Christmas Season Madness we have been enjoying. Turkey friends the best to you to start this week. And I wish you all the best going forward. I hope you enjoy it here on this Monday. It’s a brand new week (but not a brand new year yet). But this is the last time we have to say NEXT Thanksgiving for the next couple of days. And then we can say THIS Thanksgiving. Still a minor change but it’s a mental change. Turkey friends we gobblers started the Christmas Season Madness. And the Halloween Season brought us to our beloved Thanksgiving Season. All 3 are linked forever. Have a great New Year’s Eve Eve!
