Happy Dozen Days Of December! Today folks we move along and see that we have 350 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 324 days left until November and 263 days to go until The Bers. We have reached the 350-Day Marker till Thanksgiving my friends and that means our 50-week journey back to Thanksgiving begins…TODAY. Our next milestone? We will have back-to-back milestones to look forward to as they are the 250-Day Marker till The Bers in less than 2 weeks on Christmas Day and 2 weeks from today will be the Tom Turkey Day #1 on boxing day! We move along in our Happy Holidays with today’s Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!
Thanksgiving has left everyone’s minds. Last week maybe some people kept it a bit but now it’s long gone for everyone else in the world…except us who begin our 50-week journey back to the greatest day of the year.
I wonder if there is any other holiday where people forget it, the second it’s over more than Thanksgiving? People want to move on to Christmas Season. I get it but I also keep Thanksgiving Week in my heart all year long (and on my mind even though the Holiday Season). Have a great Dozen Days Of December!

Would it be Halloween for the Non-hardcore Bers/Autumn Halloween people? Seems like a lot of folks move straight on to Christmas, which also sort of "skips" Thanksgiving. I know all of us here sort of get caught up in the "afterglow" those first few days of November, but finishing up the Christmas lights and stuff sort of put those feelings to bed "For good".
I'm like you and try to keep the Holidays in a special place in the heart all through the year, which is why I'm so grateful for the MMC Special Days.

The largest turkey on record weighed 86 pounds (about the size of a 12-year-old).
That’s like half my weight. Wow. That’s a big enough turkey for all of us to feast on. I can’t imagine one that big. How did it get that big? I really wonder. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well and enjoying your week so far. We have Friday to go but it’s all good on Friday as you know. No matter what, the weekend is almost upon us and that is what we crave and wait for. Gobble Gobble my turkey friends. The best to you today and going forward. Happy Mid-December! Today we look at our counts and see the following stats: 347 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 321 days left until November, and 260 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestones will fall on Christmas Day (250-Day Marker till The Bers) and Boxing Day (Tom Turkey Day #1). Both are big ones my friends and with Christmas seemingly approaching fast we have to prepare ourselves for all of those special moments leading up to those 2 big milestones. I remember in October how fun but calm everything seemed. And then November the excitement built but still there was a different calmness. And now December it feels like we are really building and the excitement level is increasing quickly. We move along in our Happy Holidays with Quiet Weekend Part 2. That is a good thing for all of us who need a break and want some quiet here in this thread. Maybe tired of hearing me talk J. But it’s Sunday and we’re going out to an early dinner and then to a drive thru Christmas Lights show. This is our 3rd year doing it. Turkey friends I hope all of you are enjoying your thoughts of Thanksgiving. Nobody else in the world is thinking about us anymore. But I’m happy we are here together in December. Happy Middle Day Of December! Today folks we move along and see that we have 346 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 320 days to go until November, and 259 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Happy Holidays with our next milestones arriving on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. They will be the 250-Day Marker till The Bers and Tom Turkey Day #1. It’s Monday my friends so we begin a brand new week like we always do with our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. It’s a big one folks. The first turning point if you ask me. It’s 49 weeks till Thanksgiving Week. The good thing about the 50s weeks is they don’t last too long huh? We won’t see a countdown like that again until next year’s thread. Wow. Ok it’s still very early for us (that’s putting it nicely) but that’s a good thing. I’m sure most of you are noticing how quickly Christmas seems to be approaching. I think part of that is due to a late Thanksgiving and the other part of it is due to the busy times we are in with people buying gifts, wrapping gifts, working, family gatherings, parties, watching Christmas shows, and on and on. Happy Monday all! Its black ice Monday for us. I might need to see about ordering a salt spreader for a utv before somebody breaks a hip..lol.
Ice is the worst!
Ice is awful. We have had some pretty bad fog the last two mornings, but I will take that over ice any day.
