46 weeks is better than 50 weeks. That’s plenty of time to prepare, but it also means I’m going to be doing a lot of daydreaming about that magical Thanksgiving week. I can’t wait to get back there. Actually, yes I can. I want it to be special, and I’m not sure what to do about my turkey situation yet. 46 weeks should be enough time to decide. :p

Lots and lots of time to dream about it!

I didn't think I was going to make it here today, but I am so glad I did... 46 weeks. That is the cherry on top of my Monday (not Sundae). LOL!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 324
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 298
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 237

Happy Week Into January! Today folks we move along and see that we have 324 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 298 days left until November, and 237 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone being in 2 weeks and 2 days which will be Tom Turkey Day #2. Looking forward to it? I am. But right now, I’m looking forward to Picture Day, which is today as it is every Tuesday. So, post all your pictures of Fall/Thanksgiving and let’s enjoy and celebrate the views that we love the most. Turkey friends I hope your week got off to a good and productive start on Monday. And I hope that continues through Tuesday as well. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well this winter season and enjoying it. I always say through the cold days of winter if you can enjoy them, you know we’ve got a lot of mild, warm and even hot days in front of us through a good part of the calendar year. But right now, I’m firmly staying in December. I’m keeping my feet firmly planted in January and have no desire to leave it. I always say this but once you move forward from January you can never go back. Enjoy the present. Enjoy the freshness of January and remember we have all the best stuff in front of us. And let’s keep it there as long as we can. Have a great Week Into January!

I think this is a lot of us today!

I have to go outside when the sun comes up to do a second pass on the driveway. Today is actually going to be a little warmer than yesterday, and it isn't supposed to be cloudy, so if we get full sunshine for a few hours that will really help melt off the driveway.

I hope everyone has a great day!

I had some questionable things frozen off my skin this morning and was feeling a little grumpy about them. Then I opened this thread and got thinking: I am so blessed to live in a time where you can go in and such things removed instead of in times of the past when it could have meant life-threatening consequence: no longer feeling grumpy, feeling blessed.

We are so blessed.

I agree, we are very blessed. I have also had many questionable things frozen off my skin and it can hurt a lot when they are working on them and depending on the location it can be very uncomfortable for quite awhile. Good for you for going, being proactive, and for finding the gratitude in the situation.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 323
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 297
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 236

Happy January Mid-Week! Today folks we move along and see that we have 323 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 297 days left until November and 236 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone is still over 2 weeks from now when we reach Tom Turkey Day #2. Right now, we move along in our Winter Wonderland here in the middle of this week with our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

What’s your favorite thing about winter?
  • Cold weather
  • Snow
  • Winter activities (skiing, skating, snowboarding, etc.)
  • I’ll take summer over winter any day.
  • Alright you know I’m going to say D because it’s true for me. My analogy with winter is that when its cold out people run to their cars but in the summer when it’s hot out, they don’t. At least that’s how most people I see react to the cold vs. the heat. Maybe you’re just too tired to run in the heat? Could be. If I had to pick one of the 3 though (not D) I’d go with A…if there isn’t wind. I can acclimate to the cold (but the wind makes it difficult). And the cold makes you appreciate the warmer weather that will eventually come. Have a great January Mid-Week!
